MY TRACK RECORD... First of all I'm a business professional, who takes pride n serving customers,, had Energy Kitchen Resturant on W. 72nd, deep n real estate with several properties in 4 states, love people. We are noted for highest customer service, we put them first. We teach Free financial Empowerment with bout 800 follower, with people retiring at early age BE AWARE N PATRONIZE AT YOUR OWN RISK, I MEAN SERIOUSLY.... The owner n manager on Lenox near 145 was terribly obnoxious n derespectful yelling at me, cause I tried to get their attention to get my check. There was no service after food on table. We had to beg for it.. They are cooking behind a wall. Men working there seems afraid of him. We had a time each time we wanted service. He yelled I didn't need to say but one time. But if I Said hello to get them n no response, shouldn't I try harder. He carried on so bad I told him to call police. Maybe I should have called myself. The fried chicken was so spicy hot n under skin was like dark orange powder like n really too hot. I didn't see sign, to pay Cash n I don't really carry cash, I dont use others ATM cause of bad experience, we have Zelle, but he said don't take it. You have to put Jimbo app on your phone n pay. I don't need another app on my phone n wouldn't let him touch it. I use my visa credit card. So we were trying to work out paying. The other person with me didnt want me to pay. She speaks Spanish n he talked nice to her n put whatever on her phone. When we left, payment still wasn't clear so he took her phone number. I'll never go there again.
The 1 star is for the food. I stop going to Jimbo on 116th cause man used the same utensil that used to pick up food from grill to lift food left over from customer eating to fix her to go n put it...

I like also because I get to practice my Spanish, and the waitress is kind enough to speak Spanish back to me, even though she is fluent in English. Her name is Iris. The one I go to is just off 145th street in Harlem. You can't go wrong...

Like most budget food establishments, you tend to get 2/3 of the most important qualities of food service (good food/good service/good prices). Jimbos has great good and good prices, the process of receiving the food however needs improvement.
Apparently they are still in 1991 and only take cash and it will take forever to get your food. However, it's worth the wait. Everything is made to order and by Cooks that have mastered their craft.
Simply put, enjoy Jimbo's when you're...
