The staff at this salon is absolutely wonderfulâkind, professional, and clearly skilled at what they do. The woman who worked on my hair did an amazing job. She was not only talented but also very courteous and gentle throughout the appointment. I truly appreciated the care she put into her work and felt she deserved recognition for that. Unfortunately, despite the staffâs excellent service, the overall experience was greatly overshadowed by the ownerâs behavior.
The owner was extremely unpleasant and unprofessional. He spoke down to his employees in front of customers, which created a tense and uncomfortable environment. I couldnât help but feel bad for the staff who were doing their best to provide great service, all while being treated disrespectfully by the person in charge. It was disheartening to witness.
What made matters worse was his attitude toward me as a client. From the beginning, he had a noticeably negative energy and attitude toward me simply because I purchased a Groupon. It felt as though using a deal I was entitled to somehow made me less valuable as a customer in his eyes. It was clear to me that he didnât prioritize customer satisfaction or the overall client experience. Instead, it seemed like he was focused on squeezing more money out of clients and resenting anyone who came in through a discounted promotion. That kind of attitude is incredibly short-sighted, especially when his staff is working so hard to give guests a positive experience.
Overall, I left the salon feeling more stressed than when I arrived, which completely defeats the purpose of going in the first place. I wanted to relax and enjoy being pampered, but instead I felt unwelcome and on edge the entire time. Itâs a shame because the staff truly has talent and potentialâbut unfortunately, they are being held back by poor leadership and a toxic atmosphere created...

Agreed on a price then overcharged then they refused to give me a receipt.
My hair is sooo unevenly bleached. Stylist waiting until I got bleach out of my hair to tell me that if I want to fix the messed up bleach job I needed to tone it and I said okay then tells me $40 for toning. I then declined. He asked me if I wanted it blow dry and said $40 I declined. I left the salon with uneven wet hair.
They donât take AMEX then had the nerves to ask me if I didnât have money on there. It took his wife to realize that itâs an Amex and they do not take that. -__- so I had to call my bank to give me another cc on file because he absolutely refused for me to use my Groupon to pay. He said â I donât make no money with Grouponâ like why advertise on there then ?

They bleached my hair without even doing a patch test first (which any professional stylist should do), and then made me sit there for almost five hours. At the end, they charged me $350 for a color I didnât even ask for.
When I didnât tip, the staff looked disappointed even though the service was already overpriced and unsatisfactory. They told me the purple color would âshow up after two washes,â but that was completely untrue. I washed my hair as they said, and the color was still nowhere near what I wanted.
Not only did they waste my time and money, but they also failed to provide basic professional care. I left with damaged hair, the wrong color, and a very frustrating experience. I would not recommend this salon at all
I want to clarify a few points in response to the salonâs comment. At no point did I threaten anyone or prevent the salon from operating. My only concern was that my hair was not done as requested, no patch test was performed before bleaching, and I spent over five hours there with results I was unhappy with.
The salon also asked me to take down my review in exchange for a refund, which I do not believe is fair to future clients. While I did receive a partial refund, the service and experience were still very disappointing.
