I have went to this place once in the past so when I came across a Groupon for it I was happy to purchase it. Back in December I tried to redeem my voucher and made an appointment however when I came in for my appointment they were unable to see me, I was extremely upset because I had an appointment, however I decided to come back. I came back the next day again to try to get my appointment since I was leaving the next morning to LA .however they told me they would be able to take me and then after I had already waited 20 minutes, they told methat I would not be able to get it done and for me to come back tomorrow .when I told them I was leaving in the morning they suggested I try to come back before my flight which was ridiculous since it was at 8 AM. I was going to cancel my voucher but I try to give them one last chance today. I had called earlier this week to let them know I was coming in, I came and got my service they kept trying to give me add-ons for it to be extra But I have persevered through. After I had already gotten my nails done they told me that I would not be able to use my voucher since I didn’t have an appointment even though I did call earlier to make one that week, I ended up having to play pay more than three times the amount of my voucher, not to mention it’s my birthday, And I was planning to spend my money on birthday plans. I am extremely disappointed and upset. Since I had that one decent experience I kept trying to give them the opportunity to show that they have a decent business running, and that they value their customers but I guess some business is just absolutely don’t care about...
Read moreOverall 5/5 recommend! I absolutely LOVE this place and HIGHLY recommend to anyone in the area or even Brooklyn more broadly. I recently moved to Park Slope from Queens and eagerly was looking for my new nail spot. I saw the excellent reviews and have happily been here multiple times during covid.
Detailed review:
Maggie the owner is awesome; she knew my first name after my first appointment! They are very responsive to phone calls and take appointments so the nail salon is always social distanced and you start ON TIME; no waiting but you need to be on time too and have integrity with your schedule.
I feel extremely safe and well taken care of. The salon is always clean. They take your temperature when you enter to be mindful of covid. They've taken measures to put plastic barriers between customers at the pedicure station; and they themselves have the right PPE.
They do an excellent job with the nails (I've done regular and gel manicures, and regular pedicures) and I've been very satisfied. If you have any feedback they are very much open and have high attention to detail, very patient and truly kind. Maggie has also done my eyebrows and they look fabulous every time.
There prices are good and it's great quality of work. You can also pay through Venmo and the salon has good wifi.
My nails always last a long time. CLEARLY, this is my go-to spot and they have very loyal customers. I hope they continue to stay open and do well in this pandemic! Support this salon and...
Read moreThe first time I went, I got a decent pedicure and great manicure. So much so, I decided I'd make them my go to. I went back to remove the extensions last week and though they were clearly understaffed, they still sat me down with my fingers in acetone for probably more than half hour. I waited while my manicurist finished up a mani and went to a pedi. I didn't mind initially - although I don't think it was healthy to have my fingers just stuck in acetone. Anyhow, after a while, another staff member came to electronically buff the nails off - it seems as though they don't disinfect all parts of their tools. She buffed it so aggressively, even turned the speed up to go faster that it completely damaged my nail bed. My fingers hurt in warm water, out in the cold, and even at the slightest touch to my nail bed which is red and thin. It's been this way for about a week - I won't be going back because of this. Quality work doesn't mean as much without the...
