This small park looks clean enough and is recreational. However, it's basically dominated by children and parents for their children. My friends and l sat down at a table in the park enjoying our afternoon. An type-A mom came to us and said that she paid and booked all the tables for her kid's birthday party. There was only a sign that mentioned the name of party, with no time duration nor authority of the posting. This mom was so worried that we took her time from decorating her little party that she forgot her manner. I almost feel sad for her. The kid most likely won't remember that the mom fought a table in the park for him/her but they will remember how a mom carry herself as a woman of...

This is the best playground in park slope. There are structures for babies and toddlers and for older kids as well.

There's a restroom which is always welcome, and the park staff make a good job at keeping it clean enough.

Really fun in the summer when they turn on the water jets.

There's an attached "sports" area with a big astro turf lawn where people play team sports in the afternoons and weekends, or do PT or combat sports in the mornings. A couple of basketball courts complete the ensemble.

The cherry on top is the farmers market that sets up shop on Sundays. Small but good stuff.

If you're hungry you'll find tons of restaurants and delis around. Perfect spot for kids...

A wonderful urban oasis for kids and adults, delighting with a sense of history and magnificence. There is a lovely water fountain in the center of the park, providing cool water splashes during sweltering summer days. There are swings, jumble gyms, and an artificial lawn area. The most famous structure is the Old Stone House building which has been beautifully restored and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. There are also many smaller garden areas with metal tables and chairs. The Farm Garden is absolutely beautiful and provides a wonderful experience for everyone interested in learning about how to grow vegetables, berries and...

This park is packed with kids after school hours. It's great for kids who love a busy park. There are water features activated by 2 button timers. There is also a large turf in the back for football/soccer, which often has after-school sessions regularly. There are many nannies and regulars that live in the park slope area. There is a gated baby play area near the Stonehouse. The Stonehouse often helps host birthday parties and performers who use the park space throughout the year. Parents can feel safe since this park is in a very child friendly neighborhood.
