Washington Park — Attraction in New York

Definitely a huge park. Always a lot of people and kids. My favorite time is in the spring and summer. Lots of water spots for the kids and a huge field to play in as well also a soccer field. Good for all different age groups. Also a nice seating area for breakfast or lunch in the garden. My only concern is there are NO gates. Love to see how this park has continued to improve through the years. There are so many activities for kids and in the early evenings there are people that come entertain the kids as well. I also appreciate the fact that there are some tennis balls available if u want to play and have forgotten yours at home. Good place to chill after picking up gelato from across the street on 5th Avenue. Lovely for dates, play time with the kids, people watching, and on some occasions there are movies or plays going on in the park.

There's also quite a few sports activities that take place here. From a Kickball league, to soccer, basketball to lawn tennis. It's good for different reasons.
