Definitely a huge park. Always a lot of people and kids. My favorite time is in the spring and summer. Lots of water spots for the kids and a huge field to play in as well also a soccer field. Good for all different age groups. Also a nice seating area for breakfast or lunch in the garden. My only concern is there are NO gates. So keep an eye on your little one there’s over 5-6 openings straight to the street. Could kind of be a little overwhelming but the kids like it and it’s...

Love to see how this park has continued to improve through the years. There are so many activities for kids and in the early evenings there are people that come entertain the kids as well. I also appreciate the fact that there are some tennis balls available if u want to play and have forgotten yours at home. Now the street between the park and the school is closed off which makes it safer and kids bike or skate safely in this area. Just found the skateboard part this last...

Good place to chill after picking up gelato from across the street on 5th Avenue. Lovely for dates, play time with the kids, people watching, and on some occasions there are movies or plays going on in the park.

There's also quite a few sports activities that take place here. From a Kickball league, to soccer, basketball to lawn tennis. It's good for different reasons.

There's also a Farmer's...

Wonderful park and playground in the heart of Park Slope/Gowanus. There are daily events and music performances by the Stone House, many smaller gardens, as well as various mini playgrounds. I love the water jets in the middle of the play ground area providing a very much needed summer cool off. There are restrooms as well.

There's a playground, not pictured, for little kids and it gets really busy with parents, nannies, strollers and toddlers. This is rare empty shot taken on a particularly cold day. It's a welcome addition to the area since there aren't very many parks nearby and Prospect Park is a bit further east.
