Washington Park Dog Run — Attraction in New York

The parks team should hose down the AstroTurf every week. It gets gnarly with dog poop and it's becoming worn out from use.

Would not advise you to bring your kids please. Not all dogs are happy to have erratic moving objects running around unpredictably and possibly trying to touch or pet them (no shade to kids but seriously be more careful with your kids. It can be dangerous.)

Clean area owners pick up the poop. Just too dusty with the gravel. Grass would be much nicer. We have gone a few times. There are two dog runs that can be connected by opening a gate. There are water fountains for people and dogs. There isn't any shade here, so in the summer it can be quite miserable. The gravel gets very hot and unbearable for little paws. Even on cool days, with dogs running everywhere, dust flies up from the gravel. You and your dog will get very dirty after visiting.
