My wife and I brought our 6 year old son to the shop today. He’s a REALLY difficult kid and it’s hard for him to remain still for even 1 minute. But to our surprise he was the model customer! The place is really busy so obviously they know what they’re doing and have built up a large client list in just a couple of years in business in this location (even though all the barbers look young - def less than 30 - they have lots of experience - yes I asked!). So my son saw some older guys getting their cuts first which def helped. The stylists were also super friendly and went out of their way to make him feel comfortable. His barber asked his name and was interacting with him the entire time as well as checking in with my wife to make sure he was cutting the way she wanted. Best haircut I’ve had in years!! For some time now (about a decade), I’ve been searching NYC for a barber that understands exactly how I want my hair to be cut, and I’m happy to say I’ve finally found them. Joe’s an amazing barber with years of experience that really shows. He knew exactly what I wanted after no more than 10 seconds of my description. You can really tell he’s spent years honing his barbering skills and becoming proficient in the craft. The environment is also super chill, with both barbers being great at conversations.
