To say that I loved this shop will be a complete understatement. The moment I walked into this shop I was in complete awe! I didn’t know where to start looking. It’s a beautiful homewares shop. I saw beautiful things for the kitchen and around the home. What didn’t I want to buy. Lol! Everything is very reasonably priced. I was so close to buying one of those mixing bowls. Maybe next time. Lol! I bought a beautiful journal and a nice picture frame that contained an inspiring quote. I also bought a vintage drawing book. The staff is friendly. I love shops like these. In my personal opinion this was the most beautiful shop I’ve seen in my life. I’m definitely coming back and I hope everyone finds the opportunity to see it...

I was greeted as I walked in which was nice. Although I didn’t stay long, everything was beautiful. The reason I didn’t mind leaving without seeing everything is that there was a young lady at the front. Whenever I turned to look at my daughter behind me(she’s 3) the young lady would be staring at me and then quickly turn away. I don’t know why or if it has to do with the reason I’m a person of color. For this reason I give them 3 stars. It doesn’t feel nice to have someone observing you in a suspicious way...

I’ve had the pleasure of visiting the beautiful shop in person twice, and I’ve also placed several orders from the website. Painted Swan is the only stockist of Annie Sloan chalk paint in the city, and it is an invaluable resource for me, as I do a lot of furniture restoration. I love being able to get the items faster than from other online shops since it’s a local business, and it’s great to have the option of calling the shop with questions.
