This is a beautiful library in a beautiful corner of Brooklyn. It’s not the biggest library in the world, it doesn’t have the most extensive collection of books in the world, but it has what you needed – a safe place to read and to stay abreast of current events. The staff is helpful. The place is clean. They even have clean bathrooms. The cool thing is they have outdoor seating and outdoor Wi-Fi during good weather. This is a nice place to catch a breather and enjoy some peace and quiet.

A very nice library and neighborhood mainstay otherwise library branch . One of the Carnegie libraries - the building is great . It could be a total treasure. It is well-used by the neighborhood children and the children's section makes up half the library .The books service is amazing..

Lovely medium-sized library on the beautiful "side streets" of Carroll Gardens. Their strengths seem to be in the children's programming as the story times are always packed and seem super engaging. The teen center upstairs is super cute and has extra seating for teens with a well-curated selection of young adult books. It is well-utilized by a wide array of folks from those searching for jobs, pitting up book holds, families, and people on their computes. I know they are having a remodel so not sure how it's going to look soon and the library is quite loud as the sound travels. However, libraries in general are not quiet places anymore as they have evolved with the times so maybe don't come here if you want...

A neighborhood mainstay. Could use more thorough and regular cleaning - tables are usually dirty, and I volunteer to be part of a window-washing and shade-raising squad, but otherwise this is a workhorse library branch and we're so lucky to have it. One of the Carnegie libraries - the building is great and with a little TLC (and more funding, hear that de Blasio and other lawmakers?) it could be a total treasure. It is well-used by the neighborhood children and the children's section makes up half the library. There are some empty shelves, which I don't understand, why not fill all available space with books? The "hold" books...
