This park takes up the whole block, which is nice, and broken up into different sections: basketball hoops (blacktop), the middle which is really just benches and a nice place for the kids to run around and ride their bicycles, and the bottom level (you have to go down a ramp from the middle section) where they have the big kids playground and the little kids playground.
There are always kids in this park. If you go after 3 on a nice day it’s packed! Would not suggest going at that time with little kids that are not really good on their feet yet.
It is clean, but the trees have these pods that drop to the floor and they don’t get cleaned up regularly so after a while they start to smell.
The kids in the park are nice as well as the family. Everyone looks out for everyone. Very nice...

It's a true neighborhood park, where kids and their ever watchful guardians mix and mingle around a fun water feature with compass coordinates cast into the ground. The park is bordered by stores small and large and is enlivened by many community events, the soft serve ice cream truck and even a guy who makes balloon animals! The park is well maintained and planted with help from volunteer. it even has a public bathroom that you CAN use and won't feel like you need to shower afterwards. My daughter loves the swings....

Various types of food, coffee shops, bakery's, everything you can think of. Not typical chain restaurants all owner owed. Prices are reasonable can walk up or down Bergen st or along smith.
