My child had a horrible experience here. I regret not just taking them out of the shop and going to one of the many other braiding salons. They pulled her hair and was extremely rough with her. The minute I told them how to gently comb her hair they did not respond, just gave a rude look. I have taken her to salons and WE have never been treated this poorly. They should have someone who speaks English or Spanish there to translate if there are language barriers. If you have a child with sensory issues or one who doesn't like unwarranted pain please do NOT go here. We essentially paid to be in pain and disrespected. Save your time and go some place else. There are 3 other braiding places in walking distance. First problem I made an appointment on Friday for Sunday. When I got there there was one braider doing 2 heads and another lady was waiting to get her hair done. The braider said my braider was coming. I got to my 9:00am appointment at 8:50am, my braider did not show up until 11:00am. Second problem I told her I wanted 1b with 30 highlights, she mixed 1b and 30 color together smh! Third problem I told them I wanted MEDIUM Senegalese Twist and she gave me small talking about “it looks better”.
