BEWARE OF THIS MECHANIC SHOP! With my independent mechanic on an extended vacation, I decided to give Kraft a shot. I have a newborn baby and I wanted to make sure my car was in good working order. After giving the receptionist at Kraft my list of repairs, I was given an estimate of $2078. The work I needed done was: 1. Engine Oil and Filter 2. All Brakes and Rotors 3. Brake fluid and hoses/line replacement 4. Fuel Filter 5. Engine Air Filter 6. Cabin Filter 7. INSPECT control arm bushings (because the MB dealer says they’re torn) These were simple and straightforward maintenance items. I get a call back about 6 hours later saying the car is ready and the bill was $3100. Pablo claimed he inspected the control arm bushings and they were in good working order. I ask Pablo why the $1000 increase from the estimate? The receptionist quickly interjected and said “it was only an estimate.” I asked Pablo in a nice and calm way “why the $1000 increase?” Pablo’s attitude and defenses were way up at this point and he said he was doing the right thing by saving me thousands by not replacing the control arm bushings and by not doing other unnecessary work that the dealership would have done. I agreed with him because I did receive an expensive quote from the dealership. I told him that I appreciated his “honesty” but why the $1000 increase? Pablo said he replaced my wiper blades and serviced my transmission. I told him I did not ask for those services especially after just having my transmission serviced about 10,000 miles previously by my independent mechanic. Huffing and puffing he removed my unwanted services along with its charges from my bill and said “there, it’s done,” reducing the bill to $2300. I tried talking to him saying that I do not want to leave there with things that I did not pay for; meaning that I’d work with him. I told him that I would like to continue coming to Kraft to develop a future relationship with his shop. He then said that the next time he would find unnecessary work to do and make money off of me. He followed up and said “if I were you, I would not bring your car back to this shop” and he stormed off. While paying the bill, Pablo came back into the office, handed me my keys and said that the car is out front. After paying, I apologized to them for any miscommunication. (Why am I apologizing???) He said “it’s okay” and I exited the office. On my way home from Kraft, I decided to stop at Autozone for a gallon of windshield washer fluid. To my extreme amazement and frustration, THE ENGINE OIL CAP WAS MISSING AND ENGINE OIL WAS SPLATTERED ALL OVER MY ENGINE! Think of the devastation that could have caused if I continued driving with my newborn child. While wiping up the oil mess in the Autozone parking lot, I looked behind the radiator deep in the engine bay and found my oil cap. Pablo is DANGEROUS, PETTY and UNPROFESSIONAL. He doesn’t get mad, but he does get even. I go to the mechanic shop for an oil change and the oil cap was not even on! God forbid you go into Kraft as an informed customer and ask questions – you may leave with a bigger bill or even worse! An uninformed customer would pay the $3100 bill and be on their merry way. Shame on you, Kraft!

I've been driving past this place for years and I will continue to do just that. I had a Headlight that was intermittently going on and off on one side of my E class. So I went over to Kraft. Upon entering I had a simple question about if light repairs were done at the shop.receptionists attitude came off like I wasn't supposed to be asking that question. Mind you I have never stepped foot in that shop so I didn't have a menu on what service's they provide. Behind the receptionist was a Hispanic male that quickly interrupted me while I was trying to explain the issue I was having with the headlight. That individual might have possibly been the Boss but he was acting very Un boss like with the way he was asking me about what type of buld does the headlight use. I told him that they were l E.D bulbs and told him that when I inspected the wiring to the headlight while touching the wire . The lights would go on and off. He continued with what sounded like a rehearsed explanation to skip all possible logical reasons of why the light was having the issue. He seemed pretty comfortable in his chair behind the desk .So it was strange that I had to ask him to actually take a look at the headlight all the explanation and his counter explanations were getting to be a bit tiring. He made his way outside to the car and didn't even inspect the wiring that was in plain site after I popped the hood. According to him the whole headlight on that side had to be replaced with a new one. Mind you that the high beam on that side was working it was just the low beam that was acting funny but His advice was that I should pay $3500 U S dollars to replace the whole headlight assembly. As soon as I saw that This shop would rather rip me off rather than trouble shoot a possible wire harness issue I thought in my mind this place is just as bad as the Dealership! I took my car to a very good Independent shop where after I explained the issue went straight to the wire harness for the light and easily fixed the issue for $150. Compared to $3500 .00 Greed is the best way to keep good Customers away from You're Shop. When I take my car to any shop I do my research So when I go to a shop and all my Red flags are being checked off right at the reception desk. If I stay and listen bits really just for Humor !.

Since repairing my car, my car has broken down twice and I have lost money and work. After having my car " fixed," my car stalled on the Jackie Robinson Parkway leaving me stranded on my way to work. My car has been in this shop twice in a month and I have lost work and money as a result of being "fixed." The explanations for my cars issues are extensive, but unresolved and I feel hopeless. Thank you for your response, Pablo. Please note, the initial review I gave you was stellar, but when my car broke down TWO days after you fixed it, I revised the review to reflect the work. Yes, I returned until the problem was fixed and yes you reimbursed me for a rental that I would not have needed had you fixed the car as promised. There is no intentional omission of the truth here. My car was towed back to your shop three days after you fixed it, and I returned to you twice because the same problem arose. Eventually the issue was corrected but not without many tries and challenges. You kept the car through the July 4th holiday, although I initially brought it to you in June; that was the second time it broke down after you fixed it, sir. Both can be true, you tried to fix the car and told me you did and I was stranded on the highway because you didn't. I lost money and work in the process, but eventually you found the issue and resolved the problem. I hope this review gives anyone reading it a clear view of what happened...
