Georgetowne — Local services in New York

I left a review about a year ago regarding how they have black customers followed around this store, I assume to make sure we don't steal. Afterall, we're all potential thieves!! I vowed that I would never shop there again, but the Manager of the store had reached out to me after the first review, which I appreciated, asking that I give the store another chance. Today to my regret, I gave the store another chance, and I experienced the same thing again!! I didn't even realize that I was being followed as I had no reason to suspect so, until my partner pointed out a grey haired female, who seemed to turn up everywhere we went in the store. She even made sure we made it to the register, to make sure we paid for our groceries! How insulting and demeaning!! Meanwhile, we noticed a lady in one of the isles stuffing her bag with groceries and no one was around at that time to do a thing about it!! They were too worried about us being the thieves!! It's nothing but racial profiling!! I will never enter that store again!! I will also encourage friends and love ones to steer clear as well!! You are following the wrong people!!...

The shopping ctr. Itself is great I love it. I used to shop there every other day. The only reason I gave it only two (2) stars is because they claimed they don't have security camera's for this shopping mall. I went into fairway to see if they had one (1) specific item. I wasn't in there five minutes when I returned to my car and found someone had hit my car while my car was parked on the malls property. It was a hit and run. So now I have to eat that repair. I was given the run around on who to call for any camera recording. It was a dead end! I strongly advise that before you visit this mall or any other, if you don't already have, get security cameras installed in your vehicle. I have! Not just while driving, but while your vehicle is off and parked. Life is an expensive lesson but pays off in the long run and gives one peace of mind when vehicle is parked for however long! Because of COVID19 the shops are on shutdown. We came here to get something to eat. The line for Chipotle was ridiculously long so we decided to go to Five Guys for a burger, shake and fries. No more than 10 people are allowed inside and you have to practice social distancing. It's amazing how many people just don't get it. It is for our safety and your safety this guideline is applied. I can't count the many times the manager had to reiterate that the customers will have to wait outside until someone leaves and then someone else may enter. Our order took a long time but burgers and fries from here are so delicious-it's worth the wait. The shake tasted frosty and so tasty.
