Discrimination! I was denied service because I was not wearing a mask, I clarified that I could not wear it and covered my nose and mouth with my jacket. Two cashiers told me that they would not serve me anyway because this is not a mask !? They don't care that I can't wear it. And they don't care that I have everything closed because they don't want to risk their children ?! They told me that I am contagious, I just do not know about it myself! At the same time, their own workers go without masks! And they don't think they're infectious ?! Communicate happily with each other! It's terrible that nowadays people allow themselves such an attitude, I am sure that this is not the point at all with a mask, because there people work without masks! So these ladies think that all foreigners are infectious ?! Because they heard that English is not my first language. And they chose to show me their superiority over me. I spent 20 minutes there. waiting at first that their mind will return to them in anticipation of the police, and it was not I who called them.
I just needed to make a return from Amazon and for this they had to scan the Barcode from the phone, two cashiers also added that I do not have a label and because of this they cannot serve me either. Are you out of your mind at all? Why is there a Barcode function ?! It was a mockery on their part! I don't understand how your company can support discrimination, why did you decide to deny services to those people who cannot wear masks? Since when is facial mask now an indicator of health? Why did you decide that people without a mask are necessarily infectious and should be deprived of services? All this is humiliating towards people who cannot wear a mask. And in general, what right do you have to decide in appearance who can use...
Read moreThis should be a minus star due to the fact no professionalism was shown. I made an online order with Temu. Temu had this address for change of delivery. Normally the package would be delivered to my home. Since my husband had a Drs appt in which no one would be home for delivery. I call the UPS store which was located across from Georgetown. 1977 Ralph Ave address kept popping up on my laptop. So when I called there I found that the original location was shut down and this was the new location next to Popular Bank. I spoke to a female and asked the exact location of their store. I asked they was still a Mail Drop Andover can have my Temu package delivered there? She said yes. Well, to my chagrin after returning from the Dr. my hubby went to pick up the package and was told he had to pay a $3.00 pick up fee. So he called me. I was livid. âSince when? Shouldnât Iâve been told that on the onset when I called? When I asked to speak to the Mgr Simone Bryan she didnât at all handle the issue in a professional way. She as much accused me of automatically sending my package with no authorization from them and using their address as a Mail Drop. All the time she was talking to me she was laughing and talking to someone else at the same time in the background. My hubby even said that he observed her body language and it showed that she wasnât concerned at all. I called the UPS headquarters who even said, that a pick up fee wasnât their policy. But that private owned franchises have their own rules that not in conjunction with UPS. Folks, it wasnât the fee, it was the principle. After speaking with CSR at Temu, they apologize and told me to get a receipt and they will refund me back. Thereâs other UPS access location and they will have a...
Read moreLet me be frank and to the point - the reviews for this UPS Store are spot-on. If you're assisted by the gentleman here, he's absolutely helpful, courteous, and extremely knowledgeable. I met him on my second visit, which was necessary due to my terrible experience with the two ladies who processed my package on Monday night.
I asked a simple question regarding the logistics of the last pickup time for the store and they rudely brushed me off and thought I was trying to confront them. As a result, my package which was paid for with UPS Next Day Air Saver went mysteriously "missing" and stuck at the location without any further tracking updates for the next 48 hours. I returned to the store to inquire about my package and the gentleman there provided all the necessary information to file a claim. After doing so and going through the proper UPS channels, the tracking updated to show that it was finally "In Transit" from that location.
If you don't want your package to be at the mercy of these power tripping ladies, avoid this location at all costs. Look at them the wrong way and who knows, maybe your package might end up tossed haphazardly into a random forgotten pile in the already cluttered and unkempt excuse for a business.
On a final note, do NOT go by the latest drop-off time that is listed on the official UPS site for this location (6:30PM), as the driver that goes here usually picks up well in advance at around 5:30, if not earlier.
There are plenty of other UPS stores in the area that are worth your time and money...
