One Stop Market — Local services in New York

I second the sentiment some of the reviewers are talking about with the rude Asian cashiers. I knew it wasn’t just me making things up in my head. I kid you not, the last few times I told myself “I’m never going back to that place again”, but ended up going back on my way home a few times and lucked out getting a different cashier who was very pleasant.

Unfortunately, I do believe the Asian lady and Asian male owner are either racist or colorist. It’s only just the two of them who ring you up and walk away from the register while you pay. They don’t even a bother to ask you if you want a bag or your receipt. They could close out the previous customer in front of you with a smile and as soon as they acknowledge you they have a stone face. I was unlucky to get the Asian lady again today and I’m through with this place. They will never see a penny...

Not impressed. The guys at the deli counter are all pleasant. The problem lies with the owners at checkout. One Asian woman is habitually rude and then selectively nice to certain individuals. We moved nearby a few months ago and my daughter already avoids the place like the plague, preferring to walk two blocks further to another market. The rest of the family will definitely join her...

Great grocery/deli spot! Has everything you could possibly need and then some. Shelves are well-stocked and the employees are super friendly.
