I just love this place so much! My childcare situation this summer was complicated, and my work hours were flexible but I needed to somehow take care of my kid at the same time. I was thrilled to find Lola & Tots for my 2-year-old. The owners, Natalie and Jessenia, are warm and lovely and clearly care so much for the kids who come into their space. All of the teachers are fantastic and engaging. It never feels like there are too many kids at once, and the morning operates with a light routine/curriculum that my son loves. His favorite part of the day is the activity they always do. The coworking space in the basement has everything you need, plenty of space/desks and two soundproofed phone booths, plus coffee and a massive printer. My husband and I hosted our daughter's 4th birthday Encanto themed party and I wish we could relive it! The gorgeous, modern space is super inviting with enough space and toys to keep our little guests entertained. I'm a fan of natural light and the space feels airy and bright. The Lola and Tots team was so attentive and friendly and they even wore flowery shirts to go with our encanto theme. They had ample supplies and decorations for us, so anything I brought was extra. The music entertainment add-on was fantastic, adults and kids enjoyed it alike. A bunch of parents commented on how much of a good time their kids had. Bonus- there are grocery stores and general stores within the block, so you can easily grab anything you need without hauling things from home. I've gotten more work done in the past three days at Lola & Tots than I typically do in a month, plus I get to take breaks and see my 15-month-old whenever I want! I work from home part time and make my own hours, and since my baby was born my wife and I have been trying to find a work routine that still allows us to spend lots of time with him. Lola & Tots is the perfect solution for us. The workspace is beautiful. Everyone on staff is so great with my child. He has a blast here. When it's time for his nap, I bring him down into an office, turn out the lights, nurse him to sleep the same way I do at home, then keep working while he naps on the floor next to me.
