Cynergy Spa — Local services in New York

My husband and I recently spent the day at Cynergy to celebrate a very special anniversary. I must say that I had taken a look at Cynergy in the past but was only able to schedule recently because of the distance and my schedule but every moment of it was worth the wait. Our experience began over the phone with Jack who was very patient, returned calls when not avaliable, helped us chooses a package that included all the services we were requesting. He went above the call of duty to follow up with us before our scheduled services to confirm the date we scheduled was correct and provided lodging accomodations upon request.

Upon arrival, unbeknownst to us we were greeted by the owner who we were happy was taking necessary precaition due to COVID, she herself took our temperature and Pulse ox as well. We received a warm and friendly welcome before shortly being taken back for our service.

Patrice took us back to get us started for our services providing the warmest introduction and welcome with the jacuzzi ready and waiting. The place was beautiful with soft and romantic lighting. All of the spaces that we were serviced in were, very clean and prepared beforehand, elegantly decorated with details that were intricate and ornate. We received services from Marcus, Terry & Aretha. With regard to individual treatments, massages were customized (amount of pressure and sreas of special focus) to our needs. After the scrubs, facial, hand and foot treatments, we felt as though we had new skin. Facials were comprehensive and addressed and concerns with skin care regimen but not used as an opportunity force sale of expensive products as Ive seen in many other high end spas. They are taking this pandemic serious but not allowing it to compromise their level of service. They utilized the necessary partitions, shields and masks for services but with our eyes closed for many we forgot they were there. I must say we were spoiled, treated like royalty. All treats were thoughtfully placed and deliciously fresh. We remained well hydrated throughout the day. They have thing timed so well. I took a few trips to the restroom and never saw other guests that were being serviced. The meal we were served was plated like dinner at a 5 star restaurant with all condiments and essentials placed beautifully beforehand.

The staff is a well-oiled machine, transitions were seamless, never running around and moved around like stealth ninjas, they were mindful and quiet while we were quiet and warm and engaging at appropriate times. I was impressed by the professionalism of the diverse staff and how attentive they were to our every need. Our "couples time" was not interrupted, staff clearly defined when we they would return, always a knock and how we would transitions. Although we were booked for many services, we never felt rushed, and each service no matter how small was delivered with excellence with products that smelled naturally amazing and regal adornments at every step. Our anniversary was well celebrated for sure. Our experience felt LUXURIOUS and RELAXING to say the least and we left reluctantly. Our mind, body, and spirit felt RECHARGED. The owner, herself checked us out, late on a Sunday, with a smile. She and her staff are blessed with many gifts and talents one of which is hospitality at its finest. Needless to say, we will be back. The team at Cynergy is needed as a part of our wellness regimen. We can't thank them enough for pulling out all the stops on our special day. Greeted with a warm welcome and a smile from Marsha at the front desk, the birthday girl and I were seated and treated to a perfectly chilled glass of champagne.  Allowing us time enough time to enjoy our tasty beverage, we were lead to our first service. The rooms were quaint and themed and social distancing practices were observed at all times.  My facial, serviced by Melissa was truly amazing. She took her time and my skin felt relaxed and nourished without the use of astringent products that cause the skin to burn or redden, alongside her most welcomed light handedness.  After my facial I was taken to meet with Aretha, a small lady with magic hands.  Her massage was beautiful,  she asked as she went along if the pressure was enough (or not) and explained about the need for hydration and pointed out the tension spots that she found and worked to relieve them.  I was truly relaxed when the massage was completed.

With my champagne topped up, I was brought in to sit with the birthday girl for our final service for the day, the hand and feet paraffin scrub massage. With my feet soaking in the rose petal foot bath,  champagne and water at the ready, Patricia worked her magic on my aching feet.  She gave me the opportunity to smell the products used and politely explained what she was using.  She was kind to the fact that I was extremely ticklish.

My scrubbed and paraffin soaked hands and feet were unbelievably smooth, soft and moisturized.  I was walking on air.

After the services were complete, we were served a sumptuous Salmon lunch accompanied by polenta, roasted brussel sprouts and spinach salad with a side of warmed bread with sparkling water and of course glasses of champagne continued to be topped up.  The meal was followed by a scrumptious chocolate flour less cake brought into the room by the ladies singing happy birthday. They left us to enjoy our meal at own pace (which we certainly did)

WOW. I am still floating on air after my 5 hour Bronze Oval Spa Day. I love a good scrub but I had been left disappointed in the past with other spas and their "scrubs". Not here! The scrub was at least 1 hour long and it was simply perfection. I was dry brushed first then scrubbed down from neck to toe. I was kept warm and comfortable the entire time. After a shower, Terri got right to working on my body for a 55 minutes Swedish massage. She worked on my trouble areas like the tension in my neck. The scents are to die for- calming while still being invigorating. After the massage, I had a deep cleansing facial which I hadn't had in at least 8 years. It was lovely and thorough! My skin was left glowing and plump. I was very happy with my facial because I was little nervous due to skin sensitivities and past fears of severe cystic acne. I was comforted and told that my skin texture ok good, I just needed to clean out the blackheads. Lastly, Soniyah treatment my hands and feet to a lovely treatment/scrub/massage and paraffin dip and to top it off, a gourmet lunch! I cannot get over how delicious lunch was. I had the option of salmon or chicken. Went with the salmon and I was served amazing skewers with peppers over a bed of jasmine rice and a side of the most amazing salad I have ever had. It was topped off with a sweet treat. Let's not forget the champagne and sparkling water! I will be returning for more services and will be making this a regular thing.
