Mekkah Mart Complaint This complaint I am posting second time because the first time the complaint on Mekkah Mart website has been removed by them but I want to keep the customers visiting them keep informed about their employees harsh and harassing attitude. Now come to the point. On February 25th 2022 I had a chance to buy regular grocery from Mekkah Mart 2256 Staten Island New York round about 6:15 PM . I made the payment vide my credit card against their receipt # 403875 . When I reached home and checked the grocery I noticed that there is one item mentioned the price of 19.99 is misusing and it was mentioned as open item ( means no description) I checked twice that may be I am mistaken but when I confirmed that there is no item is matching to this price , I went back to the mart and talked with same cashier to whine I made the payment. I told her the whole situation by listening my point she replied that I am completely wrong and she made correct eateries but when I told again and kept insisting about my claim, she flatly refused and told me that I am liar which was inappropriate remark I told her again but before she reply there was one person standing behind her and acting like a supervisor or manager lost his temper and started to yell me and ordered me to leave the store immediately otherwise be prepared for consequences which was completely a harassing attitude. But when I reinstated on my claim he came forward to hit me or push me but the other people ( customers)who were there jumped in an stopped him. Despite of His this rude behavior I didn’t came out of mart and kept on my genuine claim, he tried again and again to punch or physically assault me. At this point I felt myself uncomfortable and not safe I told them that this is not appropriate and going to call 911. He completely lost his temper again jumped to hit me but due to other people presence he couldn’t be successful at all . This is the public shopping place and employers shouldn’t hire such type of bullies to run their business, but I am sure Mekkah Mart is in favor of hiring such...
Read moreI visit this store once a month. Each visit I see prices goes up. Last month I bought as advertised in the halal meat section 5 halal fresh chicken, $2.39 price posted per pound, yesterday I went to buy same chicken and other items I asked for 5 chickens, price posted for $2.99, only 3 chicken left and I agree to take them. Chicken scaled and tag printed for 3.49! I asked why they told me this price is old from month ago and the right price is 3.49! I have a picture of the sign and the label printed on the chicken bag. The manger at the store in the beginning refused to adjust the price and said sign is wrong and he can’t change the price on the computer or I leave the chicken! I told the manager that I’ll take the chicken and report that to the consumer affair. A few minutes after he came back to me on the cashier and rang up the right charge. I went back home in 15 minutes open the chicken bags to freeze them individually when I notice me and my wife that the three chickens doesn’t smell right and skin has different color spots which it seems wasn’t stored in the proper temperature! I will not going back to this store again. Manager there should be able to please the customer not to tell them I can’t or leave it! There’s more than this incident happened with me and my wife and they denied the owner in the store when we see his car parked outside or see him leaving a few minutes after when we walk to the store...

-you are chlostrophobic (the aisles are narrow and the store itself can get very busy at times)
you do not enjoy being followed as you shop. (During my last two trips to Mecca Mart, staff members were (very obviously) following me as I shopped, as if I were going to steal something. It was unwarranted, unnecessary, and uncomfortable - to say the...
