The EDGE Gymnastics by Athletic Edge — Local services in New York

My children had a good experience at the Edge, but I am very disappointed in the payment system. You must pay a "deposit" (as well as enrollment fees) when you sign up which is actually not a deposit at all because a deposit is returned /refunded - the "deposit" the Edge makes you pay to sign up for classes will not be returned to you. I canceled the class in April and thought we would finish the April month and I would get the next month "deposit" back, but instead, I was told that I don't get anything back and the kids have another month left of their gymnastics class. This is not a lease for an apartment, so why are they even asking for an extra month upfront. I know I have the choice of signing up or not, but saying money is a deposit is misleading and false. It's just a money scheme. I like the class itself, however, I will not be returning...

The Edge Gymnastics is the gym that my daughter have been going to for the past few months and I have been extremely impressed with the facilities and staff. The center is always clean and well-maintained. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, always willing to help with our questions or concerns.

One of the things I appreciate most about Edge Fitness is the variety of classes offered. From gymnastics to martial there is something for everyone here. The instructors are top-notch and are really pushing and motivating her gymnastics goals and dreams.

I also love the fact that Edge offers online scheduling making it easy to fit lessons into our busy schedule. The membership prices are affordable and there are no long-term contracts, which is a huge...

We made the decision to switch our children to The Edge and there have been zero regrets.

It has been a little over a month of classes and each week we see the progress both of our children are making. They are working hard and we can see not only their strength and skills building, but also their confidence.

Coach Matt is always attentive and encouraging to each child. Every week he is working with all of the children who are all at different levels of training. They offer a wide variety of instruction from Rec classes, privates, martial arts in gymnastics…the facility is immaculate and the staff are amazing.

I can only speak for our family, but we are loving our time...
