Minimart is a convenience store on 108th Street in Forest Hills. It has some basic groceries, milk, juice, beer, ice cream and various sandwiches they prepare for you. This store is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The prices are higher than a regular grocery store.
The store is useful for when you need one product and don't want to go to a regular store or its late at night. I haven't gotten the prepared sandwiches so I can't say anything about them but I have bought things like ice cream or milk. Theses items were not past their expiration date, which is a problem in a lot of convenience stores. Service is ok. Read moreSurprising amount of stuff available at this location. Was surprised to see "sugar in the raw", not just domino brand sugar. Even sell Charcoal too. They have variety. That being said, I just go here for the sandwiches. This is the deli i was referring to in my keyfood review. If you want a sandwich to go, i haven't had a single bad sandwich at this location. Been going here for over a year, different times, different people handling the deli counter. They're consistently good. Everybody makes it a little different and its like picking a barber. You'll remember the one that did the perfect job last time and hope they're there when you go in, but honestly, i haven't been disappointed regardless of...

I used to get bagels, breakfast sandwiches and Italian subs. I went a few times this year, and the food became disgusting. The old deli worker was not there. The guy making the sandwiches obviously does not know how to. Maybe the regular guy wasn’t there when I went. But I don’t know how a simple sausage, egg and cheese on croissant can taste that horrible. Yet, it did! Maybe I’ll give Mini Mart a second chance, if I’m in...
