Burger Spot — Restaurant in New York

Terrible experience, I ordered 3 Oklahoma burgers, and in the picture, they have cheese on them, so I expected them to have cheese. They did not. I asked the guy (older Jewish guy) about the cheese, and he said, "I didn't write cheese on your order."

I said, "Well, they have cheese on the picture." and he says, "Yes, but it is not included automatically."

How am I supposed to know that ? The guy didn't ask me if I wanted to add the cheese.

I sat down, and then he continued to make little comments about it with somebody else, making it seem like I wanted the cheese for free. When that was not the case at all, how was I supposed to know the cheese was an addition if you don't say, you asked if I wanted to make it a meal, but you didn't asked if I wanted to add cheese to the burger that is pictured WITH cheese ? And then you want to make little comments, making it seem like I wanted it for free ?... ruined the whole lunch.

Edit: The guy answered there are 2 burgers, one with cheese and one without, and that he asked me if I wanted cheese, and I said no.

First: I see both Oklahoma burgers with cheese on the menu, and even if that's the case, you are more supposed to ask if the person wants cheese or not since there are 2 options.

Second: You didn't ask if I wanted cheese on it when I ordered. You asked if I wanted cheese when I had the burgers opened on the table after a long time of waiting... that's why I answered, "not now" when you asked if I wanted the cheese...

You are supposed to ask when people are ordering, not when they're about to eat....

Unfortunately I was not able to take pictures of the food this time. However my wife and I ordered almost everything on the menu.

If you are going to eat at burger spot, I highly recommend eating in person rather than ordering on Uber eats. I first ordered on Uber eats and it was so bad I almost chose not to go back. I am glad that I went back!

1. Cheese burger with beef bacon = 4/5, Very good burger! the Bacon was nice and crispy and the beef had good seasoning. Was my favorite of the night!

2. Oklahoma onion burger = 2/5, Was not a fan of it. nothing stood out to me.

3. Crispy Chicken Sandwich (Spicy) = 4/5, The chicken had so much flavor! It wasn't soggy or oily.

4. Chicken wings = I asked the waiter there what he would rate his wings and he told me 7.5 or 8 out of 10. So as someone who is a big fan of wings, I had to try it. It was most definitely not an 8. I would give it out of 10? a 3 or 4.

Overall really enjoyed eating at the burger spot. It is now my go to burger place in Queens! The staff was nice and the service was quick! I hope when I go back they have there milkshakes! I am still craving my french fries and...

Burger Spot is hands down one of the best places to grab a burger in Forest Hills! The burgers are not only delicious but also a really nice size—hearty enough to fill you up without being over the top. Service is always quick and efficient, which makes it an even better experience whether you’re dining in or grabbing food on the go.
