Taco King — Restaurant in New York

Let me start by saying, the ordering process is without issues. Food delivery is fairly on time, fairly within the stated delivery time per the establishments estimate.

Now for the food, my first red flag should have been the fact the establishment is named Taco King. I was expecting fairly inauthentic tacos and tex - mex inspired food. What I received was worse. This has got to be the sorriest attempt at tacos/nachos and enchiladas (if we can really call them that). The tortillas that were incorporated in the tacos and enchiladas were likely purchased from a corner store (won't say bodega because a bodega would sell better tortillas) from the recesses of a forgotten shelf in the back. The chicken was tolerable at best. I want to commend them on their attempt at enchiladas but I simply cannot give them credit for wrapping mediocre chicken and cheese in questionable tortillas. The nachos were lacking in all aspects, were poorly assembled, flavorless and stale. I'll admit the skirt steak was decent but it is honestly not enough to redeem this dish. Ordered online at 8:43pm on Saturday, July 18th, 2020. Food was promised by 9:35pm. Contacted Seamless at 10pm. They could NOT get a hold of anyone at the restaurant. DO NOT order from this place. They are a WASTE OF TIME, EFFORT AND MONEY! They’ll be out of business soon, as they have poor customer service, don’t care about orders and their food is over priced and are tiny portions. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this place! You’ve been WARNED!!!

Stay away from this place if you want real Mexican food. We ordered a chicken burrito- bland, chicken enchilada- bland and a steak burrito- bland. The guacamole seemed to be watery with not one avocado in site. The rice was mushy with no flavor. The sauces were watered down. On top of that it was expensive. Better off to drive to Jackson Heights and get a real Mexican dish for half the price. Healthy food option should not mean blend and flavorless.
