The food is solid, but the customer service is terrible.
On multiple occasions, I’ve gone in when there’s no line, and have had to wait up to ten minutes before even being acknowledged, even though there’s usually 2-3 employees behind the counter. It’s particularly frustrating when all I want is a slice, and I’m waiting longer to even order than the pizza takes to cook with no one in front of me!
With 15+ years in the restaurant industry, I understand you can’t always take a customers order right away. However, a simple “I’ll be right with you” at least tells me they know I’m there and want my business.
This evening in particular; I walked up to the counter (no line) and waited to order while none of the three employees said a word. Then, the woman working answered the phone for a to go order when I was already there and ready to order. I turned right around, and went to Rocky’s Pizza- where they actually...

You wouldn’t know it from the signage out front, but it is Korean-American-owned and the menu includes great surprises like bulgogi pizza, chicken buldak pizza and the classic Korean-style fried chicken. I wonder how long we can keep it a secret here! The bulgogi pizza is a MUST if you like beef.
A great go to spot for after school kids, a grab and go work lunch, a fun date, and families. They have an array of all the American Italian pizza goodies too: calzones, parm, pasta… even hot hero sandwiches, chicken soup and burgers! I even see an option online for beer and wine; in the store there’s a great variety of seltzers, sodas and other drink options too. This is going to now be one of my favorite new neighborhood hangouts. We already did a big order for a pizza birthday party recently and...
Read moreI found this place while driving lost in Brooklyn, its a small place with really nothing to attract you from the outside, but I was starving and had a long ride back to Throgs Neck. Well I was in the mood for some wings and ordered 12 of their Korean Soy Garlic wings, I must honestly say that although these are one of the priciest Korean wings I have ever had they were also the ABSOLUTE BEST that I have ever had. They were so good that I tried to justify paying $24 for 12 wings. Anyhow sometimes you just have to pay for the type of quality that is not easy to find. I have since come back twice. Wings are overpriced but they are the best that I have ever had. So looks like I don’t have a choice, had a Grandma slice as well and it was good, but they are in a different level...
