I would like to respond to the statement that, "Pratt is a great place to go "if you're wealthy". I am a Pratt grad, I don't know any former classmate who was/is wealthy. Many had jobs while in school, one of my friends had a job at Macy's which grew into a job doing display windows which grew into a full time design job at a salary at 4x the usual pay. Loved my time here, but I'm paying $1,300 a month for the next 13 years to pay for my education. So at this time, it is hard to say it was worth it. I took out $120k in student debt when I went, but I'll pay over to $210,000 by the time I finish paying. Yay compounding interest.
