Came here with 2 of my cousins on a Wednesday night and was honestly shocked at how I was treated by the bartender. I tried to order a drink with the bar back, as i wasn’t sure who to order with, to which the bartender rudely yells at me from across the bar -“You order at the bar!!!”. I brushed it off, as i knew she was the only bartender and was overwhelmed with drinks. When i came back to the bar a second time with my cousin, we waited to get her attention for approx. 15 minutes. After she had taken orders for a group of men that seemed to have come after us, I simply raised my hand as I thought she had forgotten about us. Once she saw my hand, she snapped and screamed at me once again in the most hasty manner- “Raising your hand like this, doesn’t help!!!” -in front of everyone at the bar. I felt humiliated and disrespected. This exchange really upset me as We had befriended the owner upon walking in. As a queer, trans identifying individual, I thought I would frequent this location a lot as it seemed to be a queer-friendly bar with chill vibes. But after this completely rude and unprofessional experience, I will most definitely not...
Read moreOk, this was my first time attending this location. The bartender was very nice and competent. They don't have food there. The bartender explained they no longer sell food, except for empanadas which I saw being delivered. The frozen drink I had was strong. I had two drinks and one empanada. I will either eat before I go or bring my food with me if it's allowed. They are dog friendly, so just keep in mind if you have a fear of dogs. I should of took a picture of my drinks but, I was a little tispy..lol. This is my new spot.
I went here today 06/13/24 the guy bartender would not acknowledge me. I stood there and waited for him to service two customers. He started a full blown conversation with the white male. So, I sat down to wait until they were finished. When the bartender he never said, may I help you or sorry for the wait. He bagan talking to another white couple sitting at the bar. I believe this bartender is racist and dont care for Black people. He had no hospitality...
Read moreThe bar went from a bar that was fun to a bar that felt unsafe due to the security guard when we were there Saturday. My friend’s coat was on the piano, with her phone in the coat pocket. The bouncer moved the coat off the piano, and in doing so, her phone fell behind the piano. He wouldn’t let us reach to get her phone or move the piano to get it. He also refused to move the piano himself until the bar closed 3 hours later. He was incredibly rude in the process, yelling at us for trying to get her phone back. He also yelled at others in our group for forgetting to close the patio door behind them, which is fair but could have been conveyed without yelling. Later in the night, our friends saw the bouncer physically put his hands on a girl to move her when she was trying to get her coat from behind the piano. It was not a rowdy crowd, but the bouncer was overly aggressive. Sharing our story so in hopes others won’t have to go through the...
