I bought a pair of stockings in this store and prior to buying them, I asked the lady at the register what size they were and she said one size fit all and it runs small-large. They didn't fit so I went back to the store and a different woman at the register looked at my receipt and said I can't exchange it and I mentioned to her how her colleague had given me false information about the sizing. She proceeded to laugh, and say it's a 'me' problem that they don't fit, and that she fits them just fine since she is a size medium, which to me sounded like she was saying I was too big to fit them. I said excuse me and she looked at me up and down and laughed. I was so shocked and looked around me to see if I was the only person hearing this. I asked her so what do you think the best solution is and she said to me 'I can throw them in the trash for you', I immediately left because I was going to cause a scene. I am a size 8. I fit most things and I was very disappointed and upset by these comments. No one should be allowed to speak to paying customers that way. I am still shocked that this lady had the guts to speak to me this way. Never going back here again!! So rude!!
A better way to handle this would have been, we don't exchange or return this product, I'm sorry if you received the wrong information and that's it. Not to...
Read moreI don't shop Rainbow, but I needed a very last minute clutch for my outfit and didn't have travel time to go to a department store or a store that I frequent. I went to Rainbow and found 2 purses. I used one that complemented my dress and returned the other. I read the receipt and return policy carefully and didn't see anything that would be a problem returning. The cashier said it was final sale and I said no that's not right and she pointed to their return policy. Again I didn't see anything that said my purse wasn't returnable. She called the manager and he told her to do the return because he "remembered me" and didn't "verbally" tell me the purse was final sale. I asked where in the policy it says it would be listed as final sale out of curiosity and so that I'm aware in the future, the manager pointed to the phrase "intimate apparel" and walked away and ignored me after asking how a purse fits into the category "intimate apparel." I would recommend they list "accessories" on the return policy if they don't want people to return accessories. I'm more disappointed in the rudeness that followed when I politely pointed out something that leads to customer confusion. Needless to say I won't be shopping at Rainbow again. 2 stars instead of 1 because I actually genuinely liked the clutch I...
Read moreBe careful here. They don't always disclose the return policy properly. Customer service is sad, they speak their own language with each other when trying to resolve a customer issue. The Spanish music is played so loud that you almost have to yell to be heard.
Their corporate office is even worse, no matter how a problem is explained a representative named "Carly" does not care at all about customer relations.
Since they reward their sales staff for poor customer service they surely won't stay in business very long. I will never even look at their window display again or step in their establishment. A 1/2 a star would be more fitting.
I'm glad I only invested a few pennies in this place since this is the kind of clothing you buy when you are NOT looking for quality or...
