Agreed on the lack of water source. Friends of Pelham Parkway asked Bronx community Board 11 TWICE and they voted NO twice on the request for additional funding (80K) for the water source. Now this year we asked the CM Gjonaj to fund it and at first he stated yes. However nothing yet has been allocated. His office stated that he will fund it in August. So still waiting if it is true. My little boy has caught conjunctivitis in his eye and a cut under his eye due to the nasty ground of unclean sand and real rocks with sharp edges.
