Very please to find this refilery close to where I was staying in Red Hook. I was able to refill my own reusable bags. I was able to get organic maca, psyllium husk, and organic ginger root powder to load up some veggie capsules (I am going on an ocean voyage to the UK and I need to have something to help counter my motion sickness). The staff person was adequate but not overly friendly. Perhaps I upset them somehow. My sense was that the prices were a tad on the expensive side but there are not very many options out there to #Refill #ReuseAndRefill #Reuse. All good. ++++ Thank you for the response to my post. Since I was unsure of the bulk prices I would normally be charged for those items I wrote to my usual bulk store back in Canada. After doing the exchange rate and converting metric to ounces I can now share with you the total of what I would normally spend. All organic - apples to apples. Psyllium 1.54US$/oz Ginger 1.77US$/oz Maca 1.96US$/oz I bought about 2 ounces of each. So a total of about 12$. My bill was almost 20$. Ergo, my sense that I thought the items were a tad on the expensive side still holds. Don't get me wrong. You know what your costs are. Your rent might be quite a bit more expensive that my usual store and also your model is different. In most stores I am used to, the customers do the refilling therefore it minimizes the cost of handling. Also, I mentioned that a very popular tea from Metropolitan Tea was Cream of Earl Grey. You might want to get samples to see if you would like to carry it. Thanks - I appreciate being able to refill my own reusable bags.

This kind of shop is so important in the city! I felt instantly connected to all of nature. Owner was very helpful directing me toward the products that would help my specific desires. The diversity of products was awesome from teas, balms, tinctures, essences, soaps, deodorants, shampoos… pretty much everything you need. Beautiful displays. Helpful books too if you want to do some research. I’m very happy with my purchases: bug spray, flower essences for spiritual awakening, comfrey balm & lube for my sensitive skin (hormonal changes) and homemade Thieves oil. I would go back here for all my herbal needs

this place is akin to a drugstore - the difference is you might feel better entering and leaving. there are teas for every ailment, and tinctures, lotions and balms. I took home a tea to help me sleep (might help tonight after the Presidential Debate); an essential oil to help me smell better on the go and a CBD treat. Gisella told me of classes they hold to teach you how to make beauty products and the like - they also even host walks in the park which is lovely. Go for the products and stay for the ambience and company - you just might find the peace of mind you are looking for.
