Nate’s Detroit Pizza — Restaurant in New York

I really hate to do this but this was the last straw for me. I eat at Nate’s almost every week because I work down the block and every single time I go there, there is always consistency issues.. however I keep coming hoping that Nate is the one that’s actually there because he seems to be the only one that knows how to make the pizza the right way EVERY time.

I went in recently and all 4 of me and my friends slices were semi- raw in the middle and 2 slices weren’t even the slices I ordered and when I told the guy (who claims to be the second owner) he had no regard to what I said, didn’t offer to fix the issue or anything. How you cook pizza twice and it’s still raw?

I come in today after not eating all day craving it praying Nate or anyone other than him is there and unfortunately that wasn’t the case... I order and specify exactly how I want it and he still gives me the wrong order. I told him this isn’t what I ordered and that’s not how it has been made for me by literally EVERY OTHER EMPLOYEE and he tries to gaslight me telling me that “that’s how we make it” when literally the last time he made me the same slice and he himself didn’t even make it like that the last time. He threw my slices in the garbage instead of fixing it. I am beyond sick and tired of going into establishments expecting consistency and being met with disrespect and disregard. Hubby and I wanted pizza , and saw this place on a map of pizza places on court street near us as we were traveling. Looks adorable on the outside. Hubby went and bought different types like margarita , white square and also pepperoni. I am a pizza person so I had to jump on this review. This is a must go to place!!! The sauce was awesome not sweet or too salty. Not overpowering in sauce and a great amount of good quality cheese. I didn’t get to try the white square cause my son grabbed that one but next time I’m buying more. lol Overall I love this place and am definitely going to go there again. Enjoy...

7pm Sunday, We 3 ppl wanted individual slices. there was barely any pizza ready by the glass, but we asked if we could get hot honey slices. staff at front didn’t know if he could make any more pizza.. but was confused & didn’t say anything just nodded his head no

so if slices are done by the front at 7pm do we have to order a hot honey pie to get it ?

I realized this place closes at 10 pm, so they weren’t going to make any more pizza ? Lol

I’d understand if that’s the case but having one employee that couldn’t even communicate that with a word was concerning .

We gave no problems just left to find...
