When I first came across I love furniture I couldnāt help but stop in and purchase my new living room furniture. I went to the furniture in the beginning of February to place my order and I was told I would receive everything in a weeks time. Suddenly, I received another phone call mid week stating that I had to wait two more additional weeks. I was totally fine with waiting. However, the date came and passed so I couldnāt help but to stop back into to the store to receive an update. All of this time Iām waiting patiently and not one of the sale representatives reached out to me regarding. The day I stopped in there was a young lady there and I explained to her about me waiting and only thing she could tell me was there was nothing she could do now because of the pandemic surfacing. I couldnāt be mad at the organization being forced to close but I work across the street and I visualized the workers working with other customers and now months have passed and I heard nothing. My order was paid for in full. About a week ago I go back in the store for an update and I was told that theyāll bring my order in two days, the day arrived and I receive another phone call stating that I had to wait additional days due to the delivery guy being ill. Iām still patiently waiting. The day finally arrives and they are downstairs with my furniture. Iām ecstatic because I finally can have my items in my possession. The couch end up being too big for my elevator because they brought it already assembled. Correct me if Iām wrong but there are supposed to be necessary questions asked prior to a customer placing an order. They were so quick to swipe my card before asking the required questions needed to satisfy me (as a customer). I was suddenly informed that I can only receive the small couch and center table. Not to mention my delivery came without the carpet I purchased. I went to the store after work to get my own carpet. Moving forward, the delivery guy told my boyfriend that heāll redeliver my items and set it up in my apartment the day after. I was still content with all of that. So I noticed it was 5pm and I wasnāt informed that my furniture arrived at my home. Being that I got off work at 5pm and I worked on the area I went directly to get yet another update. The guy that was there was extremely unprofessional, rude, irate, and disrespectful. After all of this I was told by the store personnel that I had to pay additional money for the furniture to be unassembled and reassembled in my home. However, I refused to pay an additional expense after all that Iāve been through with this organization. I was told by the staff member that heāll unassemble my furniture and I can get it to my house on my own. Then, he stated I can find six guys to carry my items up the steps. He then went on to say that I picked up my carpet before he delivered my items which had to be a lie. First of all I get off of work at 5 itās no way I couldāve picked it up before then. To further elaborate how did I just spontaneously assume that he wasnāt going to bring my carpet, and yet take it upon myself to pick it up after I expected it to be delivered. Itās been there for more than three months, paid for!!!!! That made absolutely no sense at all. Only thing I can come up with his lack of accountability. To be exact he arrived at my home at about 3:45pm and I have proof of that as well. Why would he lie on a customer???? He had no sort of compassion, consideration, human decency. He lacked basic customer service skills and unfortunately he messes up the reputation of the entire organization. Ā Ā Ā Read moreUPDATE! (05/17/21) 8:16pm. I got a call from the leasing supervisor because the lease I cancelled after their boss said to cancel the lease or handle the situation. I didnāt know I had to Pay 30% of the total price to them. Mind you the item were never even shipped out after I was told theyād be here a certain day. I am not paying that because after leaving my first review, they contacted me solely because They were worried about their rating because of my review. Instead of calling to rectify the situation, they were worried about the review. Now they calling because they want money for items that were never shipped out. This company is ridiculous. When it was their boss who said to him while I was in the phone dealing with the BS to cancel the lease before I even thought about canceling it. Smfh. Now I know why he said that. Greedy companies I swear.and I read their entire lease. Itās not mentioned at all in the stored terms and agreements. The leasing agreement states that I will have to pay any fees for returned items that have been received. It does not state that I am responsible to pay the leasing company or the store 30% of the subtotal.
I have been calling for 2 days already. Was promised my dressers to be here by Saturday (05/01) and there hasnāt been anyone answering the phone. I placed the order over a week ago and still no one has gotten back to me. SMH. About to call the leasing company and tell them to cancel the lease.
Update: the gentleman who assisted me the day I went called me regarding my review because his boss was mad at him for it. He claims that he never told me it would be here Saturday because they donāt deliver weekends. He never mentioned that. Unprofessionally his boss told him to cancel the lease or get rid of the situation. I told him to cancel the lease because I took off work to get this done. He said the chest will get here in two days sooner than the dresser. The dresser had to be āmade.ā So it should be there by Saturday to do a delivery. He swears he never said that. After 2 days, I get a message on Instagram that the price is $2,600, which means that they could go even lower with the price. And for Black Friday it was 1,500$ š These people seem to have different prices for everyone, they are disgusted with the prices as they want, which is absolutely unprofessional and rude. Hussein (not sure for spl) said that he is the boss and that he will give us some sprays for cleaning the sofa that work like magic, with them everything works "like magic" because they deceive people and take people's money and do not deliver as promised. First, he "lowered" the price of the chair from "800" to 400 hahah, and said that he had the same chair for 500, but that the material was weak, so he would give us the one of 800. Of course, when they brought it, it was that chair of 500 $ which after 2 days has scratches everywhere and is very bad material. Before I went to store I read several reviews that people received broken things, and when I asked him about it, he said "No, no, that lady's children broke the furniture and then she called. ā Is that furniture so bad when children can break it, now I have seen for myself how unprofessional they are, they cheat people, they charge as they want, there are no transparent prices.
