Soap Box Laundromat — Local services in New York

I needed to dry a fleece blanket so I stopped by Soap Box Laundrymat. I placed a quarter which gives you 8 mins of drying time. After 8 mins, I realized the dryer didn't even warmed up. My blanket was still damp. I decided to swap to another dryer and after another 8 mins the blanket was STILL damp. I made a complaint to the attendant but she just gave me the deer caught in a headlight look and shrugged her shoulders. After 3 quarters, 3 machines later, my blanket was barely dry. It appears the owner turned down the heat on the dryer's so you will have to keep feeding the dryer's. What a RIP off. Stay clear of...

I just started using this laundromat recently & it is very clean most of the time The women that work there are very nice & helpful. I go to this laundry mat every week the women there are so nice and helpful. They work hard and are very professional to all customers. The place is kept clean and I had a prpblem with a stain and the woman even helped me remove my stain on my garment! I was so grateful to her.
