⭐ 1 Star – Extremely Disappointed Despite Being a Loyal Customer Date: July 6 2025 | Time: 9:00 PM – 10:45 PM
I’ve been a frequent customer of Tandoori Pizza Place for years, always recommending their Indian-style pizza to friends and guests. But tonight’s experience was absolutely disappointing and unacceptable.
I placed my order through their official website at 9:00 PM, with a special request for extra garlic sauce. Their website clearly stated 45 minutes delivery time. However, I received my order only at 10:45 PM, a full 90 minutes later, after making multiple calls to the restaurant.
By the time the pizza arrived, all of my guests had left. I had saved a slice for each of them, excited to let them taste what I’ve always called the best Indian pizza in town. But what ruined it further was the missing garlic sauce, which is essential for the full experience—and I had explicitly requested extra sauce.
When I called the restaurant, hoping for an apology or explanation, the staff instead blamed me, saying I should have ordered via Doordash or called them directly—even though I used their own website! No accountability, no customer service. Just rudeness and deflection.
It’s shocking to be treated like this after supporting this business for nearly six years. Good quality food alone does not make up for disrespect, negligence, and lack of responsibility.
I’m attaching my receipt to show proof of the order timing: Ordered at 9:01 PM, delivered at 10:45 PM.

Read moreIt was always good to go and dine there, till last couple days. I went there with my parents in law, my wife and 6 month old baby. We made our order as the following: 1 garlic bread and 2 pizzas after we added 1 to go, we got the garlic bread in the next 10 min or so, couple customers came after us, made orders and sat, approximately after 35 min or so these customers received their orders tho they came after us. When I asked the cashier about our order he said: it’s busy tonight !!! And you cane late we are about to close !!! I asked him, why did you accept the order if it’s late, And how long for our food to get ready after 40 minutes of waiting, we received our first pizza for my parents in law finally for them to start eating, I asked about the other one he said: coming shortly, after some tine he brought the pizza in takeaway box, so I ask him why in take away box ? He said: we are about to close !!! I asked him if he is kicking us out, he left without answering with attitude. Unfortunately nor the food was good (everything was quite salty) before leaving I told the guy the service tonight was bad, and have to consider the baby staying in the stroller for such long time AMAZINGLY, rather than apologizing for the whole bad experience he just turned his face and left. Read moreSo I am a loyal customer I alway order from them and I love there food every time I order it’s always goes smoothly, so going back 4 months I had two bad experiences with them so this was 4 months ago I order my food over the phone for pick up so I when there to pick up my food and I was paying by card and the tip amount came up and I saw there was no option for customize tips there were only 15% and 20% and 25% so I click 15% and my whole order came out with tip $65 and this was carry out so I didn’t question the cashier because I was running late for work. So now my second bad experience fast forwarding today so we have family over visiting us so my mom told me order Tandoori pizza so I called them I would like to order pizza so I told the employee over the phone I want to order a large Desi garlic pizza and he was like what acting like he didn’t understand me so than I repeated the order in Urdu fingure he would understand in Urdu and what he said to me that when I lost it he told me give the phone to my parents calling me a little kid and I told him I am a grown woman and I told him I order from you guys many time and now you lost a loyal customer and that I will not be ordering from you guys and have a bad day and hung up on him.
