What a great pampering experience! I get gel nail polish and this was my first time getting them redone since moving to NYC. Everyone was friendly and the service was so thorough. I got a 10 minute backrub while my nails were wrapped and I also got a hand massage and shoulder rub. As she cleaned up my nails to be painted, my hands were in a lotioned up glove that put moisture back in my hands. Soaking your nails to remove old gel polish can be very drying. By far the best experience I've ever had in a nail salon!
EDIT : Still my absolute favorite place to go get my nails done! They know me by name and always take such good care of me. I get constant compliments on my nails and I love the adorable accessories they started carrying.
EDIT 2 : I moved from NYC to Indianapolis almost a year ago. I came back for the weekend for an event I needed to attend. The regular workers all remembered me immediately! They also did an amazing job as usual. If only I had a nail salon like this in Indianapolis. They really do so much more for clients than your...
Read moreI stopped by a couple weeks ago for some self care. I decided to do the lavender experience. The prices on the wall confused me a bit if I’m being honest. I now know to ask more questions before I request something.
But I wasn’t angry. I was celebrating a milestone at my job and was happy to spoil myself. The overall experience was great. Everyone was polite, patient, and very helpful. I was obsessed with my mani / pedi. They have an amazing selection of colors. I was overwhelmed as someone who gets choice paralysis lol. But I couldn’t be happier to see they had the holographic polish and I just had to try it!! It came out beautifully. The lavender was soothing and the massage was relaxing. (:
I live all the way uptown but plan to make the occasional trip down here when I want to have a self care day! The picture of my manicure is a couple of weeks old for reference!
Give this place a try!
Update: I came back and added a video of my recent manicure...
Read moreTook two hours to get an acrylic fill, I broke one nail and so she had to apply one fake nail to match the set. They had to apply and redo the nail twice after asking if it was ok when it was much larger and completely crooked, they spent an hour and a half filing my nails, me and my friend went to get fills and both of our nails were cut around and bleeding from aggressive filing, it wasn’t red, it was actually bleeding, day two and my fingers still hurt. They had to redo the polish twice. I have never left a manicure bleeding before and my cuticles torn. I paid $50 for a two hour fill, and the nail the redid doesn’t match the rest. Worst experience I’ve ever had. I don’t know if it was a bad day but my fills normally are only 30 minutes. Safe to say if you want to have a manicure and not bleed find somewhere else. They were sanitary though and did spray rubbing alcohol on my cut up hands, so...
