I used to run that Brooklyn Street at the black pearl in ways never ever been ran in Bk b4 lol... I am talking about 1hr free open bar vodka and 1hr open bar champagne. It was so cray, classy, cool and casual fancy. I believe people deserve a prince or princess life always. It was my way to recognize😍💋💓😘
This place used to b my chill out place. It was like were i go after work-days i did not have to work.
I enjoyed playing Bocci balls and was amazed to found sand and natural ground inside. Reminded me when the grownups were baby sitting me as a toddler and playing that game i learned to be good at just watching and trying to do what they did.
My friend took me. We live in Hamilton Heights and i was delighted to go al the way down there. He drove. Thats the first time i even realized he got a car. Damn Manhattanians :)
There was a podcast i find out about when we were downstairs and was getting reprimended for speaking my mind by a host michelle. Huuh girl if u only knew me you ll know imma speak regardless what you think lol. I travel far far away lands to speak here lol.
I did propose as a joke to start a new country. My friend was making good trouble. I laughed at. Jordan from comedy central was funny and more funy other Jordan ( i like your attitude of seeing the funny in everything even not the norm lo) and michell personal share of her girl life. They are funny. I only didnt like the interview with the netflix chick. It was like trying to make someone share personal stuff that wasnt there or they didnt want to share. Girl let it go. She didnt wanna :).
Pink shirt fabulous funny darling hope to meet u again! Lol. I saw u in few...
Read moreI always pass by this block, but never knew this place existed untill my friends took me out for drinks here last night.
Yes! It was a mid-week Tuesday night, but you wouldn't of known that by judging the atmosphere & crowd. There was a line at the bocce courts, the Couches were occupied, and the bartender poured drinks all night non stop. The reason I'm mentioning that: is because it's kinda hard to find a poppin' spot - in this part of town - in the middle of the week. If you haven't been here, let me tell you about the killer layout. When you walk in: to your left, you have the library, high ceiling, chill couch vibe, that even has a fire place. That part is the romantic side of things, where you can get comfy on one of the Couches and never want to get up. Right after the library setting you are walking into the " heart of the beast" where a full On bocce court is awaiting you, where you can stretch a muscle without knowing any dance moves... It has a bit of a barn/bowling alley feel to it. & in the back, you have a few other tables gated in, - for extra protection, so you shouldn't have too much fun - for some group seating. If you are a smoker, just slide outside at the side door into the quaint yard. It's a perfect spot to start a random conversation with a fellow nicoholic. But wait! I'm not Done yet, I left the best for last. The basement! that's where the magic is happening. From comedy nights to karaoke nights they always got you covered, (yep, some events might have a cover). I know I'll be back, will you? Just don't steal my...
Read moreUnion Hall, Brooklyn. It ain't just some joint. It's a carnival of the absurd and the sublime, nestled in the heart of the city that never sleeps. Picture this: a cozy library, not just any library, but one that whispers tales of lost souls in its every crammed shelf. Books breathing the dust of a hundred years, watching over you as you sip your drink.
Then there's the bocce ball court. Yeah, you heard right. Bocce, in the middle of Brooklyn. It's like tossing balls back to your childhood, but with a beer in one hand and your dreams rolling on the ground.
And the fireplace, damn, it's like the heart of the place, crackling and warm. It's not just burning wood; it's burning every broken dream and warming every cold heart that stumbles in off the street.
Karaoke nights, where even the shyest fool finds their voice, belting out tunes like they're the king of the world. And the comedy, it's raw, it's real. Laughter spills out like beer from a busted can.
Let's not forget the grub. This ain't your grandma's kitchen, but it'll do. Smoked trout toast that'll make you feel like you're dining with Hemingway. Chicken wings that leave your fingers sticky and your soul satisfied. And the grilled cheese, it's like a warm hug from an old lover.
Union Hall, it's not just a bar, it's a freakin' experience, a slice of life served with a side of the extraordinary. You walk in, and you're part of something, part of a story that never really ends. It's Brooklyn at its best, a touch of class, a dash of madness, and a whole...
