I went in to have my phone bill reduced because I was paying too much. The employee who assisted me said there was a promotional plan that would be better for me—it was supposedly the same price I was already paying but included two additional lines. I agreed and switched to the new plan. I was charged $70 for changing the plan, which I paid.
Afterward, they offered me a Wi-Fi router, saying it was free for 15 days and encouraged me to take it home and try it out. It felt like a coincidence since I had actually been looking for Wi-Fi. I was told the service would be $50 a month after the trial.
However, when my next phone bill came, it was almost $400. It turns out they lied—the new plan was not the same price as my previous one. I feel like they were trying to take advantage of me, especially as a woman. The second time I went in was just to claim my T-Mobile Tuesdays reward. One of the workers stopped me and said, “Hold on, you qualify for a free promotional offer on your plan.” I told them no thank you, because the last time I came in for help lowering my bill, it actually ended up increasing. The T-mobile rep name Cristian(store manager) told me that if anything goes wrong with the phone, I will get a new phone and any kind phone that I want. This phone came defected from the first day I purchased it. The phone kept losing internet, I brought it back to Cristian like 4 times in the first three months that I had it. Cristian told me that if I keep on having the same problem that he will give me a new phone with no problem, when the time came he tried to give me a refurbished phone under my insurance, not by store replacement that is why now I'm going to cancel T-mobile service. I'm very dissatisfied with the service in this store. I recommend with any customers to be careful with what deals this store gives you because at the end they changed everything around.
However, I went back to the store, Penelope a new store manager was able to solve my problem with a phone that I purchased and it came defected from store. I was very happy with her help and satisfied with her service. She is excellent with taking care of customers. Thank you Penelope!
