ALDI — Local services in New York

I got mad respect for Aldi bc they keep grocery prices affordable. Also their home section is just addicting. Now for those who do not frequent Aldi there are a few things to get down. Fresh Produce is stocked daily (so when they out for the day they out). There is variety but you not gonna see as much as you do in shop rite, keyfood, stop and shop etc. A lot of products rotate, so just cause you bought it this week don't necessarily mean it’ll be back next week. New food products restock on Mondays and new home/personal items restock on Wednesdays. They usually don't have a lot of name brand, that helps keep the cost down. Food quality is always good (only 1 time i picked some expired blueberries without realizing). You can return pretty much anything with the package and receipt, i think if you don't have the receipt you can get a store credit. Parking is always in excess upstairs and there are always carts (bring 25 cent cause there are rarely any loose carte). Self checkout for credit purchases and sales rep for cash purchases. In general, I have a positive shopping experience at Aldi due to their reasonable prices and consistently fresh food. However, since this particular store just opened, there are a few issues that could be improved upon. The lights in the first row have been out for over a month, and the lack of pushcarts or hand baskets inside the building is inconvenient, requiring customers to go upstairs to the parking lot to retrieve a cart. Additionally, the store's operating hours may not be ideal for some customers, as they open at 9 AM, which may be late for older individuals in the community who prefer to shop earlier. With a nearby competitor like ShopRite opening at 6 AM, there is room for improvement in Aldi's operating hours to better cater to the needs of their customers. It would be beneficial for Aldi to consider opening at least an hour earlier, from 8 AM to 8:30 PM, to accommodate early shoppers in the area.

I’m only giving a 4 based off the charts,time and lights. But I do enjoy shopping at the location.

Good store to get some groceries some things cheaper but I think their prices are going up for example the orange juice previously was 3.10 this was about 3 weeks ago the first time I went now as of 12/22/23 it’s 3.20 . And other items I see prices have gone up . That is why I’m giving only 3 stars if their prices are going to be going up what’s the point of this Aldi store. It’s supposedly a lower price grocery store to save money . Let see how it goes in another 6 months. Other than that store it’s clean nicely stocked you won’t find everything you want but most of the basic things you will . Free parking is convenient. Lines are usually not too long at the times I been there . Only thing is the if prices keep increasing there will no point of going and just going to shop rite or...
