Teriyaki One Japanese Grill (Teriyaki & Sushi) — Restaurant in New York

After reading the reviews I realized that many of the complaints have to do with the online ordering service. Some are complaints from walking into the establishment. It's a relatively new restaurant, and will experience bumps in the road. Let's see if they continue to take feedback and strive to always improve.

I visited this establishment a few days ago. I ordered a chicken bento box with noodles (substitution additional charge). I also ordered the special rolls: green dragon and rock & roll. Everything was made to order. The teriyaki chicken and noodles, dumplings and rolls were hot. The salad was fresh. The BBQ eel was tasty and the other ingredients in the rolls were fresh.

The quality of the rolls were good. I gave it 4 stars because the rolls could be tighter. I really enjoyed the green dragon roll, but the rock and roll compared to Sarku Japan in Throggsneck shopping plaza was not as good. I think something was missing.

In fairness I did order during the evening rush. One tip is: I called my order in advance. They said the order would be ready in 10 minutes. I showed up to pay for my order and I was immediately given my food order. They were super friendly and I would definitely order again in the...

I’ve been going here more frequently because it’s a healthier alternative than the other food chains around and their food has always been good with no complaints. However, when I got home to eat my food I noticed the salmon was very fatty in my poke bowl and not cut well. I shrugged it off at first but as I got to the end of the bowl I found a small black bug and almost ate it thinking it was a seed from the seaweed salad. I immediately threw away the bowl in disgust. The beef teriyaki was just as good, with melt-in-your-mouth slices and great flavor. Portions were generous, served with steamed rice and fresh veggies, and the service was quick and friendly.
