Taco Bell — Restaurant in New York

I don't know what the more recent reviewers are talking about regarding skimpy portions, dirty restaurant, rude people. This is the best taco bell in the five boroughs that I've come across. Most of them, including the one at Penn Station, are combo Taco Bell/KFC, and are lacking in the menu and in the service. With few exceptions, every time I've been there has been pleasant, with proper portions by Taco Bell standards(yes, the Taco Bell corporation actually publishes standards as to what you are supposed to get and how it is supposed to taste). Cleanliness is better than par with other Bronx area fast food joints. Attitude is better than most Bronx area anything. Exceptions exist even at this location, but exceptions always exist. Perfection just doesn't happen in a fast-paced fast food establishment. In other words, good place to eat. Average Taco Bell prices. Meets standards. Eat here if you like Taco Bell.

I'd like to add: Taco Bell is NOT authentic Mexican. If that's what you're looking for, keep looking. Taco Bell hasn't been authentic Mexican since before they spread beyond Texas(their origin). This is fully Americanized the same way Pizza Hut is not...

What can I say to this specific business personal. They played twice with my order. Even after choosing vegetarian option. I’m served with food that has meat in it. So what’s an whole point of asking to choose what type of meal option some individual want. Atleast people will be aware that you guys don’t mean or consider vegetarian meal option as vegetarian besides your food may have meat in it. So they won’t be bother to get food from you guys(Taco Bell). You guys don’t know why someone is choosing vegetarian meal option. It can be their preferences or religious believes. But serving them food with meat in it. Not only consider to play with their food but with their religious believes as well. Very very disappointed right now. Cause I have paid for a food which I can’t eat even I’m hungry. Just due to their irresponsibility as they have mess up my order and here I’m writing to inform people to be vigilant and pay attention. I went to this Taco Bell between 9:30 - 9:40 p.m. on Saturday, Sep. 27th, and had a terrible experience. I went through the drive-thru to order my children and me food for dinner, and I was greeted by the person on the microphone very rudely. As I was attempting to order my food, she seemed very rude, impatient, and bothered. I don’t understand why she was acting in that manner because I didn’t do anything besides order my food. When I went to the window, I saw the lady that was rude, and I asked her if I did anything that caused her rudeness. She said, “No, I was just busy with something.” I was okay with that, but I explained to her she had an unnecessary attitude. Which in my opinion wasn’t needed. Then she proceeded to have another attitude as I politely called her out on it. I then asked for the manager, who then also didn’t seem like she cared either.
