The Children's Place — Local services in New York

This store really is the worst should have read the reviews before ordering but I tell you what I won't make that mistake ever again. How I order my child's uniform got a message saying it's being prepared and never got a message saying it's ready but since I'm waiting for over 4 hours for a message to say ready for pickup and trying to contact the store I sent my husband to get then. When he got the they have the nerve to tell him just go look for them himself. So what the point of choosing of online ordering with store pick up. Anyways he politely told them that it should have been ready, and then they "acted" like they were gonna now start pulling the order only for me to receive a message 5 minutes after he decided to go to footlocker while they're "preparing the order" to say my order was canceled because everything I wanted was unavailable. Smh. What a waste of time and tying up of my funds. My order was placed since 12:06am store wasn't even open yet so it should have been 1 of the first things done when the staff arrived there and I also received a text message at 10am saying it is being prepared. One bag of lies..Very distasteful, a huge inconvenience as well cause now He has to be running to cookies department store to try find our child uniform for he very first Pre-k day. Good thing I don't shop here on a norm but wouldn't even consider it as a back up anymore. Very Very...

I'm sorry there's nothing good to say about this store other than location. There is always clutter, there is no order, and no one on the floor to ask for help. The cashier area always have two girls there folding clothes and one on the cash register (that doesn't make sense with the line being long). Customers in the store should comes first. The manager (Sherry/Cherry) needs to be replaced with someone professional who knows how to dress, someone with customer service skills, and someone not afraid of the people they serve. I asked her a question & she barely opened her mouth she was acting scare & I am older women. She is rude I asked her for her last name to write a review but she refused to give me her last name. Never experienced a manager not giving out her last name she should be proud if you are doing a great job if not I wouldn't either. She belongs in the back office somewhere & not dealing with customers. Corporate needs to address the issues at this store unless they are just in it for the money. Worst Childrens Place Ive ever been too!! The line was all the way to the back of the store and wrapped around. Slow cashiers who look like they dont want to work. This lady complaning all the way at the emd somehow ended up at the cashier first just bc she was loud. So disgusting. She was right to complain but doesnt give her the right to skip everyone and the staff just let her. Then a cashier was taking cash customers only so I followed behind the lady in front of me. How the cashier was trying to tell me I have to wait in line to be called for the cash only cashier. I didnt skip anyone, I was next. How dare they after they skipped this lady over everyone. I didnt move nor will be going there again. Terrible customer service, too many clothes in the way, cant even walk...
