I always go to the Children’s place at this location in Jerome.I also buy lots of clothes and shoes online for my kids and other children in my family. This evening after work I went to exchange my daughters sizes but the girl who was taking care of me was on FaceTime with her mother having a conversation about buying some toys on sale, she was very rude and I try to get her attention but she kept having the conversation with her mother because her mother that was shopping in a store. Also I told her to order the exchanges for the right sizes for me because they didn’t have her size in the store and she said that the delivery would go to my house not the store and it was from a different store if they have it and she didn’t seem to want to help me and said they didn’t have nothing I needed to exchange and gave me the return and didn’t want to bother helping me to exchange for the same item difference size for the same price I pay, so she ring me up for a new In store purchase and finish with me. I say thank you even though she didn’t say it to me and she didn’t even reply. I believe she’s the manager, she’s a short light skin girl with glasses and seems to be South American . I really never had an issue in no other store, neither with the other staff from the morning. The African American lady’s early in the day are soo nice but this girl was soo nasty, rude and unprofessional. I didn’t want to have any argument so I left and she didn’t even gave me the exchanges on the other stuff I needed. I really felt soo disrespected and I don’t think I will ever be buying anything from this store again. It seems as I go down the review that the same person in question has being doing the same things and even with other employees she’s unprofessional. If she’s not able to do a simple job that requires customer service then she should think about changing careers. People like this lady surely give a bad reputation to this type of chain stores. Read moreI absolutely love children’s place. I usually visit the cross county store but I was in the area and needed some things. The store gates and door were closed until 7 min after 10am. I originally was going to put a “pick up at store” order for the special (EXTRA20). My mom was also looking around and they had a section for $1.99 she was in. She had 4 pieces in her hand already when the manager of the store Ana came and rudely told her to “get out of the way” yes in those words. She changed the sign to $2.99.
My mom asked her if she can honor at $1.99 only what she already had in her hand already while the $1.99 price was up. Ana rudely said no. No explanation. No customer service from her AT ALL. My mom got upset because of the injustice in her treatment not so much at the price.
We proceeded to the check out where the employee (a woman) with the name that starts with a T I’m so upset I forgot her name. She was so helpful and her remarks to the situation really mediating and made my mom feel heard without taking sides or provoking negativity. Maybe Ana should get some customer service pointers. Usually I have great experiences at other Children's Place but this one was is hands down the worse. As soon as i went inside everything seem to be disorganized which I didn't mind because working at retail in my past experience I understand that customers can tend to make a mess. I walked up to a sales person and asked her where can I find the onsies and she replied by saying "somewhere in the back". Which I thought she would had showed me exactly where but instead she went back to her conversation with the security guard about shows on Netflix. I decided to walk to the back of the store and there was a HUGE mess where I couldn't even find what I was looking for. I was highly frustrated because there could of been someone to at least help look for what i was looking for but instead a conversation about Netflix was more important.
