Urban Deli — Local services in New York

If I could give zero stars I would. Months ago, I loved this place. There was a pretty and sweet cashier with pink and blue hair on weekends. She livened the place up and brought in a wide array of customers. Ever since she left, my experience has never been the same. The employees here are rude, stink, and don't interact well with customers. The corny man in the chef hat speaks inappropriately and the food is now always cold in the middle but hot on the outside, the burgers raw, the meat slicer is always dirty and the place is always dusty and crowded with nonsense. That girl needs to come back she had things in order. And don't believe some of the good reviews, those are the employees...

Great food, great people! The Trinidadian doubles were very tasty and delicious; they have all the sauces too (Tamarind, curry mango, cucumber chutney, shadow beni and pepper sauce that could be a little bit hotter lol, but all is so tasty). They also have lunch specials that features their specialty baked wings, Spanish food, Indian food (halal), Trinidadian delicacies (doubles, aloo pie & Pholourie) and your basic deli sandwiches. I’ve never been to a deli in Brooklyn/NYC with such diversity plus a genuine welcoming to all their customers. I love this place! Best bodega in the area!! The people are so sweet. Amazing food, been here a couple times and the samosas are fantastic with such a crispy layered crust and just had the Aloo Pies (one with just sauces and one with this insanely flavorful chicken and sauces). Sweet, spicy and so flavorful in the softest dough. Come here for the best quick grab...
