WEBSITE IS VERY BAD, EMPLOYEES ARE NOT PROPERLY TRAINED.
I hate to say it but I won’t be shopping here again. And it sucks.
I like the concept of the store and they carry interesting quality products. However, their web and In-store experiences are really bad. I noticed they had advertise for a 40% off flash sale between nov 14-20. The link to the ad leads to an error 404 page (meaning the page doesn’t exist). Once on their homepage I found another link leading to the 40% sale section (the discount, meant to be applied automatically on check out). Much to my surprise after picking a few pants and accessories no discount was applied. I contacted them and it was clear from the conversation that I would be best to just go to the store in person as the website issue wasn’t goin to be resolved anytime soon. When I got to the store a few hours later, the person helping me had no idea what was on sale or not. But said to me: “take a look around and I will honor the discount”. So I picked a few items and when I came to the register the same person said, “ oh sorry none of this is on sale”. So I left empty handed. I understand how difficult is to operate a small business, it’s not easy.
But you simply cannot have mistakes like this happen on your e-commerce platform and when your customers are actually the ones making the effort to make a purchase, a minimum effort from the store to do right by the customer, would be a good idea so not to...
Read moreI used to love this place. Recently, went in and tried to purchase a backpack. After spinning for 2 minutes, the shopify system showed purchase declined. This happened twice. So, I went home, not being able to make a purchase. Then when I logged onto my credit card's account, I saw that my card had been charged twice. Went back to Hatchett Supply and Kal at the store insisted that because the purchases did not show up in his system, this was not his problem. Instead of taking my phone number and contacting shopify, he just shrugged his shoulders and told me the pending charges probably would just disappear. Well, they didn't disappear, they went through and it was left to me to dispute the charges with my card company. Bottom line - they don't seem to care that their point of sale system created a huge issue for a customer and I will NEVER return to this store again. Should have at least followed up with me and Shopify to make sure this was resolved, but didn't seem to care one bit. Don't give your credit card to these people unless you want a headache and another thing on...
