Water Lab — Attraction in New York

This playground is truly amazing! It is a complete treasure and I know will be a staple for our kids in the summer. There are so many things for them to do and everything is free! There is a HUGE sandpit with a small beach house for them to play, a sprinkler park (called Water Lab) that also includes a creative waterway design for kids to play and engage with. There are plenty of open eating spots if you just want to picnic and lots of different areas with huge slides, swings and see-saws. This place can be a full-day excursion for toddlers and young kids. Kids will definitely enjoy this part of the Brooklyn Bridge Park - especially the Water Lab during Summer time. I love this park because of its unique and creative arrangement, there are separate sections for swings, slides, water fountains, sand volleyball and a place if you just want to hang out, there is also a cafe and a ferry station going to Governor’s Island for $3 (adult, children and senios are free) and a nice boardwalk. This is a great start for a free fun place for children to enjoy in the summertime. It is a little bit small so that is why I am giving it 4 stars. There is also a sandpit to the opposite side of it that mo one seems to use when it is over 90 degrees outside.
