The tennis courts are totally fine, but cracked and faded. They’re not nice or special - but just adequate and that’s totally cool with me. 2 courts, one with a bench.

Reserving courts is painful. Someday maybe we’ll get the internet but it’s a ~6am paper list. NOTE: I arrived at 5:50am flat on Saturday in April and every slot from 8am-1pm was filled, plus a few after. I heard there may be some kind of “committee” that gets to put names in night before, but that sounds lame and I hope it’s not true. So it’s just to say: get there earlier than you want if you want a time you want. By 9am there were no spots.

BUT silver lining: if you like playing against a wall as an alternative, there’s ~5 walls to hit agains right across the street (maybe same park).

It’s close to freeway exit and so there’s a lot of cars and trucks.

Can be a little windy.

Lots of space and play areas for kids otherwise.

AND bathrooms! (Maybe not in the winter though)

I understand that getting a court in NYC is hard but this is...
