This was possibly one of the WORST customer service experiences I’ve ever had in my life. The store “manager”, Temur, needs to be relieved from his duties immediately if you want any real chance of this store branch improving.
I placed an order (4/18/25) through the Walgreens photo app as I’ve done many times in the past. However, I’ve never ordered to this location, but unfortunately, my usual store’s printer was out of service. I came on (4/25/25) to pick up my order that was ready and they spent more than 5 minutes searching for my order to then proceed to tell me that even though it says “done”, they can’t find it anywhere. During this time, the manager, Temur, tells me that I can place another order and it won’t be ready until tomorrow (even though Walgreens advertises prints and posters as same day orders within an hour). This was an inconvenience as it wasn’t my fault as to why the prints weren’t there, but I decided that this was the best option.
Fast forward, I receive an email that my prints are ready and I go to the store to pick them up (yesterday, 4/30/25). I finally receive my prints after waiting some time (clearly a faulty organization system). I look at my posters and immediately notice food stains on them. I tell the employee at the register and they get the manager, Temur. He comes and tells me that there’s nothing wrong with them and I can just “clean them up”. I assure him that I refuse to pay for something that is clearly dirty and if he can reprint the posters for me. He then proceeds to get an alcohol wipe to show me how easy it is to clean the poster. In the process, he smears the ink and ruins the poster even further (images attached). I ask him if he can now reprint the posters and at first, he tells me no, until some of the employees try to convince him on my behalf as it shouldn’t take that long. Temur decides that he can reprint them, however, they won’t be ready until tomorrow. At this point, I’m fed up as it’s been over a week and a half since I’ve tried to successfully get these posters printed and I decide that it isn’t worth the back and forth.
For context, I’ve worked retail in my early 20s and I’m unsure how or where he got his training and experience from to become a store manager, but there’s clearly much to be desired in his performance. There was a lack of patience, lack of empathy, just a general disregard to the customer that I don’t think he even deserves the title of manager. They are always making themselves busy, stocking the shelf, chatting amongst themselves or playing around when the store is slow at 11pm - This is usually when I shop here. They have a machine to make pictures for passports and a machine to order pics from online or your phone. Good candy selection, frozen foods, and school supplies. They do need better frames, theirs seems to lack an assortment of well constructed ones. The pharmacy is a HORRID!! I can not stress how stupid they are. Ok, I came back in 30 minutes. We did couple of pictures, I repeated my request, he said OK, but I will get printed pictures anyway. I don’t care, I just needed digital copy!
