El Caribe Country Club Caterers — Attraction in New York

Start with El Caribe for any wedding or event!! We looked at a few different venues for our June 15th wedding reception and were disappointed with either pricing, quality of food, lackluster event rooms, CLEANLINESS, level of service, etc. We should have gone here first!

Once we met with Phil at the El Caribe our decision was made on the spot! From our first meeting we felt so comfortable and well taken care of. Every question we had was answered, any unordinary request we had could be accommodated with ease, the food selection was vast and varied, and the rooms themselves were pristine and beautifully decorated. Throughout the planning process the staff at El Caribe were always available to answer questions, discuss options, and put any worries I had to rest. I would walk into one of our meetings with a ton of questions, scenarios (we changed our room set up and dinner service three times until I felt satisfied - they are so accommodating), etc. and I would walk out feeling lighter and at ease.

On the day of the wedding EVERYTHING ran smoothly. We had cocktail hour and our reception in the Topaz Room from 6:00 PM - 11:00 PM. Guests arrived a bit early and the experienced staff had the room already set so we could open the room earlier than expected. Cocktail hour was tremendous; SO much quality food. We didn’t include any carving stations or extras outside of what the cocktail hour offered and it was more than enough! We received so many compliments on the wait staff; our guests said they were never without a fresh drink. While our guests were enjoying cocktail hour we were finishing up our photos. Our maître d, Jason, and Ali, our attendant for the night, were extremely polite, prompt, and gave us the best service we have ever had. Gregory and the other bartenders were phenomenal. Remembered what everyone was drinking and were so attentive. Our guests are still raving about the service! The coordination with the vendors is seamless and our night flowed smoothly and on time (cocktail hour to dinner service in the same room, florist, dances, dj, dinner, photos/video, cake cutting, etc.).

Finally, the Food at El Caribe is beyond all expectations! The quality, quantity, timeliness, temperature, and presentation were the best I’ve ever had. Our family and friends are still telling us it’s the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding. I would whole heartedly agree!

We had our wedding at El Caribe on 08/26/2023 and our wedding day was perfect! My wife legitimately cried when she entered the Tiara ballroom. It was the only time she cried the entire day... she didn’t even shed a tear at the church lol. It well more than exceeded our expectations. Cocktail hour was incredible! My wife and I didn’t attend cocktail hour but we were able to see some photos from our guests and it was unbelievable! Cocktail hour included a lobster wall, an oyster shucking station, fresh mozzarella being made fresh in front of your eyes… it was incredible. We wish we had attended our cocktail hour just to view everything in person but we knew that we wouldn’t have been able to enjoy any of the food if we did (as we would have been approached by everyone trying to talk to us and wish us congratulations). Instead we enjoyed all the food being served at the cocktail hour in a separate private room. The staff and service was incredible! Alan was super attentive. He made sure that we stayed hydrated and were able to actually enjoy the food from our cocktail hour and dinner. During our private cocktail hour, Alan dressed my wife in a white tablecloth (so she didn’t spill anything on her dress) and was attending to our every needs. One of my groomsmen’s wives joined us in our private room (she was pregnant and we welcomed her to join us so she could be comfortable) and she commented how awesome and attentive the staff was and how the staff at her venue practically forgot about her wedding (we didn’t ask for her to elaborate lol). Similarly Ashley (the bridal attendant) and George were awesome as well! The MOH was struggling to bustle my wife’s dress and Ashley just took over and bustled it up quickly! I would highly suggest El Caribe for your wedding venue! We recently had our wedding at El Caribe, and we could not have been more thrilled with our experience. From start to finish, Ralph exceeded all of our expectations, made sure we got everything we wanted and made our special day absolutely perfect.

The cocktail hour was truly exceptional! Our guests were raving about the delicious variety of food and drinks. Every detail was thoughtfully prepared, and the presentation was stunning. There was something for everyone, and the abundance of options made it feel like a feast. It set the tone for an unforgettable evening.

The main reception room was breathtaking—absolutely immaculate and beautifully decorated. The ambiance was elegant and romantic, with the perfect lighting to create the most enchanting atmosphere. Everything, from the floral arrangements to the table settings, was pristine and flawlessly coordinated. It felt like a fairytale brought to life!

The service was nothing short of outstanding. Matt, Ashley, Justina and all the staff at El Caribe were attentive, professional, and incredibly friendly. They went above and beyond to ensure every detail was handled with care, and that our guests were comfortable and taken care of. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty, and their attention to detail made the entire day flow smoothly without a hitch. Ashley stood with me all night making sure we had everything we needed.

We are beyond grateful for the incredible experience Ralph and the El Caribe provided us and our guests.
