I have been coming to Lina for about 3 years, so this review is long overdue. But she is hands down the best waxing professional I have ever encountered in my life—and I’ve tried plenty of people all over the world. In fact, even though I don’t live in New York anymore, I’ve decided to make the trip back to the city every couple months JUST for her because she is that good! I see no reason to look for someone closer to me when I’ve already found the world’s best.

I go for full body waxes, and the experience is fast and pretty much painless. My hair grows back much more slowly since I started working with her compared to everyone in the past. Even Brazilians are a breeze with her! Plus she is an incredibly kind and generous woman, and I always feel safe, welcome, and utterly un-self conscious around her.

Let me start by saying, Lina was truly amazing. I had to reschedule my appointment 3 times within the day because my nail appointment got rescheduled for a later time due to the fact my nail tech was unprofessional. So I am more than grateful for Lina because she worked with me and she still took me after rescheduling and being late. She is sweet and understanding. I love it here! She also works quickly, but she also does it with minimal pain. If anyone tells you removing hair with wax doesn’t hurt at all they’re lying. It doesn’t really hurt, it just stings a little. I've been looking for someone who will help me with what is best with my skin. I have sensitive skin so having to shave really irritates my skin and leaves it with razor burns and pigmentation. When I went in and met Lena I was at ease. She was nice from the start, she invited me in with a smile and walked me through my appointment. She checked which wax was best and most comfortable with me. She really did her best making sure I was getting the attention I needed and talking me through.
