Please be very careful while at this pharmacy. I am only giving this one star because I have to in order to leave a review. Let me start by saying that for the past few years I have been going to this cvs due to the proximity to where I live. I have never really had an issue with the exception of panhandlers outside begging for money from every costumer who walks by. However, today was a little different and the reason for me writing a review. I did call the cvs hotline, but they were asking for my full name and phone number and address for which I do not feel comfortable doing. My husband went to the store for me to buy me some medicine as I have I very bad sinus infection. I needed Advil cold and sinus from the pharmacy. The one that contains pseudophedrine. This requires a government issued photo ID. They would not accept his passport. His passport has been accepted every where we fly. He was buying the smallest box they had because it is expensive. Another store employee offered to help with the ID. They shooed both him and my husband away with their hand (I was on FaceTime with him). They told him to get it from the shelf while being very nasty. Totally unprofessional. My husband put everything back, over $40 worth of baby things because our infant (3 month old) is also unwell. According to the fda.gov website all that is required to purchase such medication is a government issued photo id and nothing else. Perhaps because they were supposed to close in a few minutes they didnāt want to be bothered. I might also add that the pharmacy tech that was behind the counter did not even understand what he was asking for. Iāve read other reviews about this particular pharmacy issuing the wrong medications to patients. I find this very disturbing that they are a representative of the cvs company and did not even want to help at all. Maybe they need sensitivity training or customer service training. They were very rude and disrespectful. I believe customer service is a lost skill. How would they like it if someone treated them like they treated my husband? Needless to say we will not be returning to this cvs nor any other cvs. I truly hope that this issue is resolved. I thought cvs was about caring for their customers and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWorst experience here. I had to go back amd forth in the afternoon because initially, the Pharmacist told me that there was no order received. The order was done in the morning. Then after almost half an hour, I received a text message that 1 of the medications was ready to be picked up. At the counter where I bought some stuff for my wound and a couple of vitamin supplements, there was an error on the kiosk, so I had to ring the buzzer for the staff.. Then the cashier/staff went to me looking at her watch and seems annoyed. When I came back tot he pharmacy to pick up my medications, the Pharmacy tech icuan kept on roaming around, doing nothing, while 1 customer was standing in front of the cashier. Both male senior customers stated: " She looks like she doesn't wanna work!" When there was a long que already since the staff kept on taking her time just doing nothing. Then when most of us were talking already, that was th e time she started "working". This is the worst experience today at CVS Chestnut Street. I am planning to change to another pharmacy. The other day it was great when 1 staff asked me about the purchase I made, since she told me her mon is coughing and she wants to buy something for her mom to feel better quick. And I have given her advices. This is regarding herbal remedies. That time I can give her 5 stars for being nice. But today, the staff at CVS are all nonsense. just...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI tried to pay my purchase in the machine, and I noticed that one of my items was on sale, if I had the CVS number, so at first I tried to do by myself, but I canāt, then I asked for the CVS attendant help and he seems flitting with a girl and didn't pay attention to what I was saying, and then when he tried to help me, and exactly what I was saying happened, I said: that's what I was ātrying to tell you; itās my first time trynna get some discount, and I have no CVS numberā. He thought better restart the process in the other machine, he was helping me but kept telling with the girl and her brother, he was giving his phone number, maybe thatās why he didnāt notice that I was ready to pay with cash ( I was holding one bill of $20) when the machine says āonly credit/debt card hereā. Finally we restarted in the right machine, I got the CVS number, paid my bill and he kept...
