The fact that this place doesn't have more reviews is a travesty. I went during normal breakfast hours on a weekday and it was jam packed. I went based on a suggestion from one of my videos and I could not be happier to have come here. I will say that the woman at the front was incredibly friendly, but there was a bit of a language barrier for a moment there, I ended up just kind of pointing to what I wanted by the end of it, but it all worked out fine. I think I was the only person who was not from some form of Spanish heritage in the building, which honestly made me want the food even more, haha.

I got the "Tosta Mista" and a large coffee. For the milk for the coffee they frothed it up before adding and I liked that little touch. I added a splenda and that was enough for me to really enjoy this coffee on a really cold morning. The sandwich was basically like the best grilled ham and cheese you've ever had. Lots of cheese, pressed bread with butter and garlic, delicious ham. It wasn't too much or not enough. It did feel weird eating a food that I have always known to be a lunch type food for breakfast, but it was also cool to try things that they would do in other countries rather than the typical egg sandwich.

The sandwich and the coffee was like $7.60...for real. Absolute no brainer, if I lived anywhere near Newark I would be here ALL the time. No Pao at Café Caffe -...

The service is fine, ladies are nice and polite, food, well, food not really, let’s start with the The Rocha Bread, it’s a very small Portuguese Roll with a thin slice of prosciutto and a fried egg. The bread is it even toasted no Butter or any other sauce. The cost of it is $6.00 this type of sandwich should be served on a rustic kind of bread to begin with. Then a soup is $4.00 not bad right, but for a very small soup served on a medium size ice cream paper cup no slice of bread nor nothing to go with it, if you want bread they charge an extra $1.00 for a roll. Then we tried to order the Alheira bread, surprise they had no Alheira, then I ordered the cracked prego or whatever it’s called they didn’t have pão d’avo to serve it so it had to be served in another bread type. I understand bread ends but Seabra’s supermarket is right across the street so they can restock anytime. The sandwiches are extremely overpriced for the quality. Not good experience. I understand we all have bad days in service but this is something that should be corrected. If your are going to charge well for a sandwich you need to serve a great sandwich and if that happened I would not mind the price, but like this no. I would not recommend this...

English

My wife and I had a bad first experience with this company. My wife ordered 12 prepped meals online and the cashier gave her only 10 meals. My wife then proceeded to explain in English the meals she was missing. Unfortunately, the cashier did not speak English. My wife explained to the cashier that was missing 2 salmon meals. And the other cashier explained in Spanish to my wife that there were no more salmon meals even though my wife ordered those meals online. My wife and I am really disappointed because we were really excited to try out this meal prep service. Even though the prices are affordable, you get what you pay for. Buyer beware. I run my own personal training business and I actually referred my clients to this place. However, after this horrible experience, I will no longer refer anyone to this place.

Let me be as honest as possible. I went there with some friends on a Saturday morning. Big mistake because it was full and of course it had a big line. My order was a toast with butter , a latte and a Tropicana OJ. You pay first and then wait for the order. A pager is given to you to let you know that your order is ready . But to my surprise they charged me $0.01 for the pager.... it's not the money of course but why should I be paying for a commodity that I didn't ask for. ??

Coffee drinks and sandwiches at this location are so OVERPRICED!!!!..the sandwich that I've ordered, it had no lettuce, no tomatoe, not even mayo or mustard, only plain/ dry bread with meat for a beef sandwich $6.93 with taxes, let's say $7.00 for dry bread and meat sandwich..!!!!... They said that lettuce, tomatoe and etc.. are available with an extra fee..!! Service was slow and DEFINETLY will not go back there!!!.
