I ordered this around 6:00- 6:30 pm on a Sunday. I arrived at 7:35 and when I gotten it. The bag was opened and food juice was dripping out of the pan. I’m not new to eating paella/ paelha Valenciana. In fact I have eaten from this restaurant in person quite often. I don’t know what’s going on in the kitchen. Nor who was cooking but clearly the chef must have exited the building. When you pay over $40 for a dish. Your are not looking forward to getting a half of a lobster, less than a five pieces of shrimp, scallops, four oysters, mussels, small chunks of fish, and some kind of meat. I couldn’t even identify that piece of meat. Oh yes I counted the shellfish. When I tasted the dish. It was god awful.,It was tasteless to say the least. Omg all of the shellfish tasted as if someone had just taken them straight out of water and placed them into the rice. Anyone that is a fan of paella knows that the rice and sauce makes the dish. Especially if the seafood has been seasoned well. You would find yourself holding them all in your mouth moving it around because it taste so good. When it taste that good you find yourself eating more than one plate or bowl. Well that wasn’t the case with this dish. It was hideous I honestly wanted to cry 😢. Who committed such an act in the kitchen of this great restaurant. I used to buy this dish and take it all the way back to my home state to show folks what real Spaniard food taste like. The sight took you away long before the smell reached your nose. Than once you tasted it lord you just knew that the chef put their love of cooking into this dish. The chef must have lost the love of cooking or just wanted to leave this night. I placed my bread into the dish for this picture. They even made the bread smaller. I know that Covid is running rampant. I know with that in mind everyone has been ordering their food online. Just because we find ourselves having to order online, doesn’t mean that we should receive less quality food. In fact this is how you win over more customers. You serve them food that their palette falls in love with folks. I will keep you all posted...
Read moreBefore the renovations they had a good atmosphere and the staff was very welcoming and friendly. We decided to go see the renovations and see if they had anything new on the menu. We got there and the restaurant was very slow, didn’t have many people, and the staff weren’t very welcoming. We went to sit and the guy asked if anyone wanted wine (only four out of nine of us drank wine). The guy didn’t ask if anyone wanted any other drinks. There were a lot of mosquitoes around our table and we left all bitten. Then we got the food and it was okay nothing out of this world, the staff rarely check in with us. We then got the check and for the food that we got and the atmosphere it was too expensive. About 2 minutes of us leaving and going to the parking lot across the street the guy waves us down staying they gave us the wrong check. We go back inside and the server grabbed the cash that he had threw it on the bar top and starts yelling “you guys gave us less money then the check. I counted and it was wrong, you count the money” I told him to count again because we made sure to put the correct amount. He counts again and I see that he didn't count one of the $20, so I told him to count again. He recounts the money and then looks at us and says “oh you did give the right amount, my fault”. I would not recommend this place to any of my...
Read morejust had my daughter’s Sweet- Sour 16 at Casa Seabra. It is our third party there and once again everything was SO good!
We had a little hiccup with the cake I had ordered BUT it all worked out in the end due to the manager, Isabella’s fast thinking. Everyone enjoyed the cake!
Wanted to thank Isabella and Rosada for all the help planing this day. I went in with a plan and Rosada showed me a different and BETTER plan for the layout. So glad I listened to her. Also thanks Rosada for being to nice to my son Nathan… we did take the left overs 😂
Our servers for the night , which unfortunately I cannot recall their names for the life of me, were phenomenal!! Absolutely attentive, working so hard, had everything ready to go! Thank you for all the refills and making sure everyone was being taken care of. Specially the beautiful lady who were thinking ahead for me and helped me out with timing for everything!
Let’s not forget about the food! EVERYONE left saying how much they enjoyed every single dish! It was delicious as always! My son probably had all the clams.
I cannot wait to celebrate another milestone at Casa Seabra. We got married here, my parents had their anniversary here and now my oldest just had her punk rock 16!
Thank you all for making our day! Julie will be forever thankful for you...
